Genshin Impact has a new event out in the form of the Travelers Tale Anthology Chapter. As part of the event, you get to explore Teyvat and go across locations like Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. In these locations, you can listen to and collect different anecdotes.
If you’re having trouble locating these anecdotes on the map, we have you sorted! In this guide, we’ll show you the locations of all of the anecdotes. This will allow you to get all the rewards before the event concludes. Let’s get into it!
Travelers Tale Anthology Chapter Full Day 2
There are only 5 anecdotes that you can get as of Day 2 of the Travelers Tale Anthology. We’ll show you the locations of the characters that we have managed to get for now. There are 19 possible characters you can talk to and they can spawn randomly.
So, it is possible that in your case, the characters might be different. Just make sure to check the map and follow the character icon that appears.

Anecdote Location #1 – Zhongli
For the first anecdote, you will need to head to the following location in Liyue Harbor. Specifically, this is the Wanwen Bookhouse where you can find Zhongli.
You can spawn at the teleport point that can be found near the character location. From the teleport waypoint, you need to head all the way up to the area marked.
This is where you will find the Wanwen Bookhouse. Zhongli will be standing in front of a stall. Talk to him so that you can get his anecdote into your Anecdote Chronicles!
Anecdote Location #2 – Yun Jin
Next up, you’ll need to head to the marked location in Liyue Harbor too. You can find Tea Master Liu Su performing here all the way on the top floor.
In front of him, you should see a bunch of tables where people are sitting. You’ll find Yun Jin sitting here too. Interact with her so that you can get her story in your chronicles too!
Anecdote Location #3 – Ningguang
After that, we’ll be going to the following character location in the Liyue district. Specifically, you want to spawn at the Jade Chamber.
When you teleport here, you’ll want to make your way to the entrance so that you can enter inside the Jade Chamber.
Go all the way downstairs and you should see a large room on the side. You should see Ningguang there sitting beside a doctor. Interact with her so that you can hear her telling her anecdote to the doctor.
Anecdote Location #4 – Kaedehara Kazuha
You can find the next anecdote by heading to the Sea of Clouds in Liyue. We’ll be making our way to the edge near the water as shown below.
When you arrive here, you should see a rocky cliff overlooking the water near a pond. Kaedehara Kazuha will be sitting on the edge of the cliff. Interact with her so that you can get her anecdote!
Anecdote Location #5 – Fischl
For our final anecdote, we’ll be going to Mondstadt. The character marker will be near the Knights of Favonius so try to spawn there.
When you arrive here, enter the Knights of Favonius Headquarters. You should be able to find the odors near some guards.
Once inside, head to the first door on your immediate right. Enter the library and you should see Fischl standing in front of a large book. Approach and talk to her so that you can record the anecdote between her and Oz.
