Sometimes a locked door only needs a simple key to open it. The problem is games usually put this simple key behind enemies, puzzles and other hazards to challenge the player. Sometimes these puzzles and enemies can be annoying, but the way Genshin Impact deals with this is that each puzzle gives you a reward on top of the reward of opening the door. Using The Reverberating Key To Open The Mirage Door | Genshin Impact Guide
Once you’ve interacted with the Mirage door it’ll ask you for a Reverberating key. This key can be found at the end of a string of puzzles. So, buckle up because it’s going to be fairly long.
Directly in front of the Mirage door is a blue platform with a Clef on it. This is the symbol you see at the beginning of the music sheets. Step on it and it will show you the puzzle.
The puzzle is pretty simple, you have to stand on each platform without stepping on one twice.
Go and step at this path, the symbol at the upper right of the grid means that the platform will move, at this case to the right where more platforms are.
Wait for the platform to get to the right side and follow the image above. This time the last platform with the diamond symbol will create a bridge of platforms to the main first grid. Just follow the path to the first grid.
At the end of the path above is another moving platform which will move you to the left part of the puzzle. Just stand on the moving platform and wait till you stop to the left, then follow the image below.
Again, the one with the diamond will spawn a platform between the gap and the last platform. Yes, that platform the arrow is pointing is the last platform, congratulations! Now get your chest reward and get ready for the next puzzle.
You may have noticed that in the same area there are plants with what seems to be musical instruments on them, like the end of a tuba. Well, that’s your next puzzle. You can go up to them and adjust them, but you’ll have to adjust them to hit a specific chest in the area that can only be unlocked using the puzzle.
Interact with the magical note statue and the trumpet plants should shoot a musical note towards the chest, open it and take the loot inside. Then, fire another musical note and it should hit the trumpet aiming at the next floating island. Doing so will unlock a flight path to said island.
The next island’s puzzle is fairly simple. You need a fire element character, don’t worry if you didn’t bring one because there’s a structure there to change your party composition. How convenient! You should see a flamingo on one of the rocks, touch it and it will show you the pattern you need to hit the totems with fire. Feel free to use the image below as a reference:
Another puzzle down and another chest filled with goodies. For the next puzzle you should see a torrent of wind to the east of the floating island, and another floating island in the distance. Use the wind the get into the air and glide into your next puzzle.
Open the door and it should send you to another area with the next puzzle. There are enemies there but we don’t need them for the puzzle so feel free to remove them. The room itself is a corridor and at the end is another note statue with those tuba plants lining the corridor. There’s also a chest locked with magic, so get to rearranging those things again until the magical musical note hit the chest!
Once you’ve opened done that the chest opens to a Reverberating Key!
Congratulations, you finally got the key! All it took was a couple of puzzles, a couple of chests and some time. Just go outside and play the musical note statue so that it’ll send a note creating a flight path back to the door!
