Mawtiyima Forest is an area you can explore in Genshin Impact’s newest update in the new region, Sumeru. Just like its surroundings, the Mawtiyima Forest is a vast and open forest with anything green just sticking out of the ground or surface. However, there is something special about this forest, as the grass is glowing. Just like any other area in Genshin Impact, there is a story here, and that story can be explored in a quest line. In this guide, we will show you what happens in the objective “Who knows what state Mawtiyima is in now…”

Who Knows What State Mawtiyima Is In Now – Genshin Impact

When you check your handy dandy Forest Adventure Journal, under the Agnihotra Sutra section, you will be shown a message with the same name as the title of this guide. From the title alone, your character wonders what is happening over at the forest, so you make your way there. You can use the nearest Teleport Waypoint and glide the rest of the way to the marker on the map.

You will then have to speak to an elderly man named Khayyam. He will tell you that seeing the forest revitalized gives him a form of satisfaction, despite no longer being able to see his friends from the past anymore. This tells that the forest means something to him, and seeing the forest in its previous state broke his heart.

Thankfully, our hero and Paimon were able to bring life back to the forest, which also brings joy to Khayyam. After speaking to him, the page for Agnihotra Sutra will be marked with a green checkmark. This signals that the quest for this page is over and done.
