Quinques in GHOUL://RE come in a wide variety of forms, each with unique abilities that cater to different combat styles. Whether you’re focusing on PvE, PvP, or boss raids, choosing the right Quinque can make all the difference. Some Quinques have V1 and V2 versions, with the latter often being a superior, evolved form. That’s why I’ve come up with this tier list, to provide you comprehensive ranking of all the Quinques in the game, helping you decide which ones are worth grinding for and which ones you can skip. Below, I’ve ranked each Quinque based on its overall strength, utility, and effectiveness in both PvE and PvP scenarios.
Best Quinque Tier List
To make this ranking as accurate as possible, I’ve considered various factors, including damage output, range, special abilities, ease of use, and overall effectiveness in different game modes. The list is divided into tiers, from the absolute best to D being the least viable. Additionally, some Quinques have V2 upgrades, which provide improved abilities and make them significantly stronger compared to their V1 counterparts.
The tier list image below visually represents the rankings, allowing you to quickly see which Quinques stand out. If you’re looking for a weapon that excels in PvE, PvP, or boss raids, my guide will help you make an informed decision.

Top 2 Quinqui’s (Best For PVE & PVP)
- Kuai (Best for PVE): Kuai is absolutely wild—it dishes out insane damage for no reason at all. It has some crazy combos, especially with Strength. I was originally running 21 Strength, but then I went full 50 just to grind bosses with this thing. And honestly? It worked. Not saying you have to do that, but hey, it’s an option.
- One of the best parts is how you can just void stuff while fighting. If you time it right, you can straight-up avoid damage like it’s nothing. So yeah, Kuai is a beast, especially for PvE.
- Doujima V2 (Best for PVP): I almost slept on this Quinque until I fought someone using it. The moves, the damage, everything is top-tier. If you upgrade it to V2, it’s at the top of the food chain.
Ginkui (Best For Boss Raids)
You can use Ginkui for boss raids since it hits everyone around you. And the best part? The more people there are, the more damage you deal because each individual gets hit by the effects separately. So, if you’re surrounded, you can actually use more moves, which is wild.
It also has a hunger bar that fills up as you deal damage. In a 1v1, it’s not the best, but in fights with multiple people, it’s a game-changer. Even if you accidentally hit your own friends, it still benefits you in the end. So yeah, it’s kinda busted in the right situations.
SS Tier
- Owl: It has two incredibly strong damage moves and insane range, but the X move is honestly trash, I really hope it gets buffed. The third move could use a bit more range, though. On the other hand, the crit is insane, it has infinite range and launches sharp nails, which is amazing. The first skill is also really good, especially when combined with Strength (at least, that’s what I’m using).
- Solace: So, this thing is both a dagger and a bow at the same time. I haven’t used it myself yet, but pretty much all my friends keep telling me I need to get it because it’s insane. The M1s in Ignite Mode have ridiculous range, basically turning your dagger into a bow. Plus, all the skills are crazy strong. There are M2 variations too, though I think only one move actually has an M2 version, but even without that, it’s really good.

S Tier
- 13’s Jason: Hands down, the best melee weapon you can get without grinding bosses. That alone makes it crazy good. No boss farming, no insane crafting grind, and the recipe doesn’t even have anything too difficult to get. So yeah, top of S-tier for sure. If you can get it, you should get it.
- AUS: It has some unique effects, I’m not 100% sure how all of them work, but I do know it has a deflect, which is huge. And for bosses? Oh yeah, this thing shreds. Honestly, might even be SS-tier just for that.
- Serrate: For PvE, I won’t lie, it’s not the best. But for PvP? It’s a monster. If you have it, you know how fun it is. The moves have solid range, there’s a barrage, and you even get some sick combo starters. Like, if you use the second move right after Soaring Blow, boom, you’ve got yourself a free combo.
- Chi She: Look, I know it seems kinda old, but trust me, this thing is actually good. The skin? Really good. And the swing range? I swear, it’s the longest I’ve seen. It’s kinda crazy when you think about it.
- Narukami: It’s toxic as hell, and I hate playing against it, but let’s be real, if I was using it, I’d be having the time of my life. The crit has decent range, but if you’re playing with friends, it’s kinda meh. Still, on its own? It goes crazy. The range, the hitboxes, everything about it is just ridiculous.
- I’ve put it at the bottom of S-tier simply because it doesn’t shine as much in group play. But if you’re solo? Oh yeah, it’s a menace.
A Tier
- Yukimura V2: Yeah, if you’re a katana user and love that classic swordplay, this is your weapon, bro. It’s fun to use, it feels good, but let’s be real, it’s not the best out there. Still, if you just want a solid, no-nonsense katana, this one’s a great pick. Now, if you’re looking for something special, something next level, then you might want to aim higher. But if you just want a clean, classic katana experience, go for it.
- Nutcracker V1: Honestly? Not really my thing. But if you’ve got friends to play with, this thing is easily S-tier. Solo, though? More like B-tier. So, I think the best spot for it is… yeah, top of A-tier. Feels like a fair balance.
- Bokusatsu: It’s got some solid moves. The jumping move is pretty cool, though it does have a bit of delay, so it’s not perfect. Still, if you’re just messing around with friends, it’s pretty fun to use.
- Demon Yamada: This thing is actually pretty solid for early-game grinding. It’s got the range, it’s got the stuff, you know what I mean. If you’re just starting out, it’s a really good pick.
- Ixa: This thing? Really good. If you’re playing solo, it’s actually insane. Whether you’re boss raiding or just attacking people, it goes crazy. Buuut there’s one problem, you’re constantly hitting your friends by accident. Like, all the time. So, because of that, I drop it at the bottom of A-tier. Feels fair.

B Tier
- Doujima: I wouldn’t normally use this, but for early game? It’s basically free. Like, why wouldn’t you use it? It’s easy to get, solid for what it does, and honestly, if you’re just starting out, this thing can carry you for a while.
- Yukimura: if you’re into katanas (which I definitely am), you can use it. But let’s be real, it’s not the best. At least not in V1.
C Tier
- Scorpion V2: Not worth the value, just with more damage. All the skills are the same, nothing really changed. It’s just a basic upgrade. The only real difference? You get A2 of the crit if you didn’t already have it in the base version. That’s about it.
- Scorpion: Honestly? Not a fan. It’s bad—but not as bad as Kajuri.
D Tier
- Kajiri: Yeah, nah, it’s just bad. Sure, it has ranged moves, but don’t let that fool you, it’s straight-up trash. If you’re a ranged user, there are way better options out there. Trust me, don’t waste your time on this.
- Nutcracker V2: It’s good, but definitely not the best. Now, if we’re talking strictly about performance, it’s solid. But when you factor in the price? Yeah… nah. For what you have to spend—two One Fragments, it just doesn’t feel worth it. Because of that, I’ve put it in D-tier. It’s not terrible, but the value just isn’t there. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend getting it.
Which Quinque Is Best?
Ultimately, the best quinque depends on your playstyle. If you’re looking for raw damage and PvE dominance, Kuai is the way to go. For PvP, Doujima V2 stands at the top. If you’re farming boss raids, Ginkui is an absolute beast.
However, if you want an all-around weapon that’s both powerful and versatile, Owl and Solace from the SS-tier are phenomenal choices. They provide a mix of range, damage, and utility, making them ideal for nearly any situation.
At the end of the day, the best Quinque is the one that fits your preferred combat style. Use my guide to find the right weapon for you, and dominate the game!
