Fruits come and go a lot, that’s just how they work. You buy a pair of nice juicy melons and they immediately start sagging the moment you head off to work.

Not in Grand Piece Online though, the fruits here stay forever along with the bad decisions you’ll make if you haven’t figured out the value of what you possess.

But who’s to say that can’t be avoided? Who’s to say that there might be a tier list you can make use of to find out which fruits are worth your time or not? Who knows, maybe you will if you on reading the updated tier list below!

Best Fruits Tier List in Update 9.5

Since this is a new update, some of the fruit that you know will definitely move up or down a notch. The ranks will definitely vary and will depend on usefulness regardless if they got nerfed or buffed. Anyway, let’s get to the list, we have at least twenty eight fruits to burn through.

GPO Best Fruits Tier List Update 9.5

SS Tier

  • Tori Tori no Mi – This fruit has been recently reworked, it’s also one of the first Mythicals added into the game.
    • A great fruit for both PvP and PvE as the passive heals back 50% of the damage you’ve taken.
  • Ope Ope no Mi – With the “OP” Fruit, you’re able to create a spherical room that gets bigger the longer you hold on to the skill.
    • While inside the operating room your enema will be subject to all sorts of object manipulating techniques. None of them tickle.
  • Magu Magu no Mi – Extremely powerful in both PvE and PvP since most of its moves deal a high amount of damage. It also stuns everything it comes into contact with quite frequently.
    • You can make strategic use of its passive that lets you walk on water instead of having to making yourself vulnerable in mid-air.
  • Pika Pika no Mi – Making use of the Glint Fruit’s Light Ray is a great way to farm bosses from a distance.
    • The same can be said for fighting players. However, the stamina cost is absolutely horrendous, making this fruit viable only if you keep your battles short.
  • Mochi Mochi no Mi – Turns you into different forms of inedible mocchi. Another great thing about Mochi is the invincibility you get while performing Buzzcut.
    • Future sight is a great ability as well, as long as you don’t let it get broken by Burn.
  • Yuki Yuki no Mi Snow fruit has two true combo extenders with Snow Gust and Snow Blizzard.
    • With this info, you can tell that it’s going to be great for PvP. The only thing you have to worry about is the short range for both Non-Ultimate Block Breaks.
  • Mera Mera no Mi – Known for having extremely high AoE and Damage over Time.
    • This dragon fruit is not only speeds up Striker from 95 to 150, but also boosts Dragon Claw and Vrael’s pipe which gives you additional fire damage.
  • Doku Doku no Mi – Wielding this fruit allows you to produce and control different variations of poison. Just like mochi, it can be formed into any shape and size.
    • You don’t have a lot to worry about during PvP while making use of Venom Spit. Just be sure your enemy doesn’t have geppo.
  • Hie Hie no Mi – If it runs on ice then it probably freezes, which it does. Hie is mostly used for PvP due to its stuns and combo potential. Be wary of opponents who have Ice Necklace as they recover from stuns quicker.
  • Hito Hito no Mi – The undefeated Great Buddha. Invest all of your points into Devil Fruit and watch your opponents fly all over the place.
  • Gura Gura no Mi – One of the many fruits that are great for PvP use. All of the moves have block break apart from Sea Quake and its Blast Clutch deals an insane amount of damage if you charge it long enough.
    • However, it suffers during PvE due to the long cooldowns and a complete lack of mobility.

S Tier

  • Goro Goro no Mi – One of the many Logia Type Devil Fruits. It grants the user a Logia bar, which can be trained to dodge up to 20 non-Busoshoku-infused physical attacks by draining it repeatedly. Most of your worries with this fruit will concern its high stamina costs.
  • Yami Yami no Mi – Allows you to create, control and transform darkness. You can use this powerful gravitational ability to pull opponents in or crush them with extreme prejudice.
    • Just watch out for Black Vortex, Cruel Burst, or Black hole. Any of those three will reduce your damage output to 75%.
  • Suna Suna no Mi – Another Logia type fruit that’s meant to be used in PvP. Great fun to have along with Fishman karate since it allows you to Water Prison and Desert Storm.
  • Zushi Zsuhi no Mi – An exceptional fruit for NPC farming, PvP, and travelling from island to island. Zushi users can go up to 145 speed on the Hoverboard and the “Gravity Frenzy” skill for the Gravity Blade gets a short range pull in on startup.
    • Just be mindful of the long casting time as that gives your opponent plenty of time to turn the tables.
  • Bari Bari no Mi – Well known for being the only functioning defensive fruit in the game. This allows you to protect yourself and your friends while fighting bosses or going through dungeons.
    • Additionally, the barrier also gives you a small amount of extra health if you level up your devil fruit stat.

A Tier

  • Nikyu nikyu no Mi – During the last update his used to be on A Tier. That hasn’t changed much, the pros and cons are still the same. With that said, this is still a pretty good choice for PvP.
  • Gomu Gomu no Mi – Great for PvP but not so much when it comes to combos. Every single attack has a long cooldown and you can still take hits even if you turn to rubber. But most moves from this rubber fruit are pretty high speed, making them difficult to evade.
  • Kage Kage no Mi – Nothing much has changed for Shadow fruit. It still has good combo extenders and is still pretty similar to Yomi.
  • Ito Ito no Mi – String Fruit has graduated to A Tier, that’s one tier higher for this update. It’s still horrible for PvE but you’re using the fruit wrong if you do that in the first place.
  • Mero Mero no Mi
  • Yomi Yomi no Mi – An excellent choice if you die often as it grants you a second life. However, you only get 33% of your health back upon revival. Other than that, you have plenty of block breaks to make use of along with a fresh set of stamina.

B Tier

  • Bane Bane no Mi – Also known as Spring, which also doesn’t have the best mobility. Its Dash is worse than normal TP dashes as well. It’s only good if you main Strength like Dragon Claw.
  • Guru Guru no Mi – Spinning around means getting dizzy, and that means your moveset gets affected drastically. Other than that, Spin fruit lacks AoE moves and is bad for bosses in general. It also requires a bit of skill to use, if this fruit were a bit more idiot proof then it can easily go up to A Tier.

C Tier

  • Suke Suke no Mi – The fruit gives you the ability to turn yourself and your mates invisible. While invisibility is cool, there’s still the chance of your opponent knowing where you are. If they’re perceptive enough they can just track you from your last position. You also give your position away once you throw a rock, who does that?
  • Horo Horo no Mi – As of Update 9.5, the mini hollow barrage and kamikaze hollow are broken. None of these will latch on to your target at the moment. Aside from that, it’s still quite dismal to have as it has a low hit rate.
  • Bomu Bomu no Mi – This fruit lived a good life on B tier, but now it’s going to have to go down one rank. Don’t get it wrong though, the combo potentials are still pretty good. Having said that, you still have plenty of other options to take.

D Tier

  • Kilo Kilo no Mi – A common Paramecia type devil fruit that gives you, the player, the ability to change your weight at any given time. In what scenario is that useful? If you took too long to come up with an answer then that’s the reason why it’s down here in D tier.
  • Chiyu Chiyu no Mi – No one will come after us when they see this fruit all the way down here. Sure it heals you along with others, but that won’t be enough when it comes to PvP.

And those are the absolute best fruits for Grand Piece Online’s Update 9.5. Double check your inventory, you probably already have some of these on you!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
