Grow A Garden recently had its new update with the Blood Moon Update. The sky is now red and there are new crops, new pets and so much more up for grabs. Players now have additional content that they will be able to grind for. One such content is the Chicken Jockey pet that seemingly a lot of players have been trying to get but failing. In this guide, we’ll tell you what the requirements for the Chicken Jockey are so you can progress with the update. With that said, let’s dive into it!

How to Get The Chicken Jockey

The Chicken Jockey is a free Mythical pet that was added in the new Blood Moon Event. To be able to obtain it, you had to be present in the game right before the update dropped. Whoever was present found the Chicken Jockey in their inventory.

Unfortunately, this means that if you were not present for the update, there is no way for you to get the Chicken Jockey pet anymore. Maybe the developers might add a way, but as of now it is not obtainable.

Keep in mind that quite a few players still missed out on it, likely due to some sort of bug.

The Chicken Jockey has the following traits:

  • Every 30 minutes, there is a 20.34% chance for a nearby fruit to become Zombified
  • Increases egg hatch speed by around 10%.

The Chicken Jockey is currently the only way to get the zombified mutation in Grow A Garden. Additionally, the Chicken Jockey has 35,000 Hunger.

That’s everything you need to know about getting the Chicken Jockey in Grow A Garden. If you missed out, it is quite unfortunate that you will not be able to get it. However, it is possible that the developers might add another way for it to be obtainable, especially since it is the only way to get zombie mutations. A lot of players also missed out on it due to time zones.
