Mobile Suit Marasai is a popular Mobile Suit that debut in Mobile Suit: Zeta Gundam. This large mech was first seen fighting with the Titans faction, but soon found out that it stood no chance against the Earth Federation and their new pilot, Kamille Bidan. However, the Marasai that was piloted by Jerid Messa proved that the pilot is what makes the Mobile Suit work best, as he gave Kamille a run for his money. In Gundam Evolution, Marasai is one of the selectable units that you can pick to fight in a match. But how do you use it?
Marasai Complete Guide – Gundam Evolution
Marasai is a mid-range Mobile Suit with 1200 HP and 2 dash limits. Marasai is what you call a “common soldier” among the Titans army. While it may not have any special abilities like a funnel system or can transform into a Mobile Armor, it does not mean that Marasai is to be taken likely.
Marasai is equipped with a Fedayeen Rifle, which is essentially an M1 Garand without the iconic ping. This rifle can let you hit enemies at a medium range, but can shoot long distance if you have really good aim.
It also has the ability to aim down the sights, further assisting your aim and letting you line up your shot more accurately.
The Fedayeen Rifle is also a beam blade, thanks to one of the skills available to use. The rifle can be used as a beam blade to melee attack an enemy Mobile Suit in front of you, which deals damage and can knock back a target. If you’re lucky enough, you can stun your enemy as well.
But if your opponent is already stunned, then you can extend the stun duration if you hit them with the melee attack.
Marasai’s other skill will be familiar to Overwatch fans, especially Roadhog mains. The Sea Snake (Ensnare) skill allows Marasai to shoot a grappling hook towards an enemy to damage, stun, and drag them closer.
Perfect for when you want to make things up and personal, as well as have your teammates pile on the poor enemy Mobile Suit. Unfortunately, you can’t use this skill to pull yourself closer to enemies, or as an actual grappling hook.
Finally, for Marasai’s G Maneuver, is the Sea Snake (Shock). This utilizes the Sea Snake as a high voltage whip to lash at your enemies, damaging and stunning them. You can use this skill at a distance and you don’t need to get close to have the effect double.
In fact, it’s recommended to use this skill at a medium distance, just to cover a lot of area.
While Marasai’s skills and weapons don’t offer much, the unit can actually be a valuable support/assist member with its Sea Snake alone. Dragging enemies towards you and your teammates can easily remov one enemy unit out of the fight quickly when used correctly.
