Guts & Blackpowder is a Roblox experience set during the Napoleonic Wars, but with a twist. Rather than actually fighting in the aforementioned conflicts, players instead have to fend off endless hordes of zombies using era-appropriate weapons.

With that in mind, this tier list will take a look at the weapons currently available in the game and rank them based on their effectiveness.

Best Weapons Tier List

There are various weapons in Guts & Blackpowder, with some being specific to certain classes. This list will hopefully help you decide which weapons and classes are right for you.

Take note that this list is purely based on the opinions of the community and does not necessarily mean that those rated lower are useless.

It just indicates that some weapons are generally better in most situations than others.

Guts & Blackpowder tier list

S-Tier

  • Hand Axe – Exclusively for the Line Infantry and Seaman classes, this weapon is a great melee weapon that can be good in almost any situation.
  • Axe – Exclusive to the Sapper class, this axe does a ton of damage and has a headshot multiplier. Its only disadvantage is its slow swing speed.
  • Sabre – This is the default melee weapon for most classes, and although it deals mediocre damage, it is very reliable when you’re out of ammunition.
  • Musket – It deals a ton of damage though has a slow reload time. However, unlike the Carbine, this weapon has an incredibly handy bayonet.

A-Tier

  • Blunderbuss – Fires multiple pellets that deal 30 damage each, though it has a very slow reload. It is essentially a shotgun that is useful in a pinch when there are too many zombies around.
  • Carbine – This is an alternative rifle that can be used by Line Infantry, and while it does a decent amount of damage, its lack of a bayonet puts it at a lower rank than the superior Musket.
  • Nock Gun – Exclusively a Seaman weapon, this gun is similar to the Blunderbuss and has a reload animation that you can cancel early if necessary.

B-Tier

  • Pistol – This weapon is exclusive to the Officer class and it can be a decent firearm if you have good aim. Fast reload speed and acceptable damage.
  • Grenade – This is technically a utility item that can be purchased by various classes. It can be handy in a pinch, but has a bit of a learning curve when it comes to actually using it.
  • Sledgehammer – Can only be found in a single map and is mainly used for objectives, though it does a decent amount of damage if you really have to use it as a weapon.

C-Tier

  • Stake – Exclusive to the Priest class, it is an incredibly weak weapon that shouldn’t really be used unless you have no other choice.
  • Shovel – This weapon can only be acquired and used in one map, and it is incredibly useless as a weapon when compared to something like the default Sabre.

And that concludes this weapons tier list for Gut & Blackpowder. Hopefully, this helps you decide which weapons to bring into battle as you dive straight into the zombie-infested maps of the game!
