Halo Infinite may have been quite a disappointment to some gamers, especially long time fans of Halo, but to more casual players, it’s still a fun game. Not only is the multiplayer free to play (with the campaign being DLC, which is the first time ever in gaming history), but you can also earn free stuff with Twitch.

Available from October 20 to 23, you can claim the following freebies in Halo Infinite:

  • Winner’s Circle – Nameplate/Emblem (Watch for 2 hours across days 1-4)
  • On Track – Nameplate/Emblem (Watch for 2 hours across days 2-4)
  • On Track – Mark VII Coating (Watch for 2 hours across days 3-4)
  • Gladiator’s Edge – Armor Coatings (Watch for 2 hours on Grand Final Sunday)
  • Gladiator’s Edge BR + Halo World Championship Charm (Watch for 1 hour during the Grand Final)

Yep, you get all of these by watching the HCS World Championship 2022. But don’t jump the gun yet! You might be thinking “Well I’ll just go tune in and watch, no big deal.” That is a big no no, as you need to do a couple of things before you can watch the Twitch stream.

You need to have your Halo Waypoint account be linked to your Twitch account before you can watch the stream on October 20 to 23. Here’s how you do it.

  1. Sign into your Halo Waypoint Account.
    • If you do not have a Halo Waypoint account, you will need to create one.
  2. Go to Linked Accounts in your settings.
  3. Link your Twitch account within Halo Waypoint.
  4. Open Twitch and log in.
  5. Go to Connections in your Twitch settings.
  6. Check whether your Halo Waypoint is showing up under Twitch Connections.
  7. Watch the required hours during the dates of the streams.
  8. Check your Inventory page when you see a Twitch Drop and get it by clicking on Claim Now.

And that’s it! It’s really that simple. Although, it may be hard if you are busy during those days and time and you can possibly miss the streams. Either way, getting the Twitch Drops is easy as long as you ensure that your Halo Waypoint and Twitch accounts are connected.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
