Genshin Impact – Haunted Tales Guide
Start Location
This is where you will need to arrive to be able to actually start the Haunted Tales quest. It will be inside the new island and right next to the Chinju Forest. There is a fast travel waypoint here that you can use to come here faster.
First Phase Of Quest
The first point will be very straightforward and simple. You will get these waypoints around the map which you will need to follow. They will be around the starting location so just talk to the NPCs. You will need to talk to Yoimiya as the most important task.
Second Round Of Test Of Courage
With the companion following you now you will go back to the Shield Maiden and talk to her. Then just proceed to follow the road and over the river that is on the left side from the entrance. Once past the river, you will be finding an item on the ground next to the mountain.
You will need to follow the lanterns that will keep appearing and they will lead to you the item you need to pick up. You will then find Itto talking with smaller boys. Go over next to him and you can enjoy the very cool cutscene.
Site Of Akitsku Yuugei
You will need to teleport to this location in the east of you once the cutscene is over and finished. Once here you will come next to an NPC and then you will need to start the game of Akitsku Yuugei. Interact with the totem behind her and start the game.
Akitsku Yuugei Game
This is how we recommend you start out your game. You will need to choose these 4 characters to be much better off in the game as well as these 2 perks. They will help you out a bunch.
The game is very simple. There is a ball that is going from your character to a bunch of bricks in the middle of the field. You will need to catch the ball without it going away from the bar that you’re holding on the bottom. Break as many bricks as possible.
With time the ball might be going faster based on what type of bricks you will hit. Use the skills that you have at the end stage of the game when you have just a couple of bricks left that are very hard to hit.
Once you complete this game and dialogue again, you will need to go back to the Test of Courage location yet again. It will be just to the west of you on the map.
Last Phase Of Quest
You will be talking to NPCs yet again and just need to locate them on the map around you. They will be shown on the map so you can find them easily. Once you finish all the talking you’ll complete the quest. Congratulations!
