You will be surprised at how many chests are hidden in the walls of Hogwarts. Most of them are probably hundreds of years old and are probably still there by the time Harry Potter walks into the halls.

But a hundred years before that, Hogwarts housed a different protagonist, one that was able to explore Hogwarts during their tenure. It is unknown how many chests they have opened, but if you play Hogwarts Legacy and are planning on opening them all, then you’re going to need the help of guides like this.

You will first need to enter the Hall of Herodiana. To do that, you will need to fast travel to the Transfiguration Courtyard first.

You can find it on the map, or you can use the interactive map that we have available for Hogwarts Legacy.

Once you have spawned in, enter the door to your right, which will lead you indoors. Look to your left and you should see this button on the wall.

You will need to use Depulso in order to activate the button and reveal the hidden passageway to the Hall of Herodiana. Go through the door and you will enter the hall.

When entering the hall, you will need to solve three puzzles. In the three rooms, there is one chest that is placed in an area that is hard to reach.

For the first room, you will need to push this block to this corner of the room. The block will let you climb up and grab the treasure chest.

In the second room, the second chest is located on a much higher surface. To get to it, you will need to create a platform that will get you up to the second level of the area.

Be warned that there is a known glitch that shows pieces of the wall in the area around you. You can still push the blocks through them, but it might make things a little difficult.

In the third and final room, you will need to move around quite a bit.

Move the blocks to this side of the room. Once that’s done, jump up to a platform on the other side. Use Accio to pull the blocks to the other side of the room and jump on them.

After safely making it to the platform in the middle, hit this object on the room with a Basic Cast and the blocks will reset.

Be sure that you are not standing on the blocks, or else you might fall into the abyss.

Once the blocks are back in position, you will need to look at it and cast Accio.

Once it stops moving, cast Depulso to push it into a corner. Use Accio again to pull the block next to the item across from you. Use Accio once more to pull the blocks toward you this time, then one last Accio.

The block should be near the door from when you first entered. Approach it to the side and use Depulso to push it to the wall.

You can now climb up and get the last chest in the Hall of Herodiana. All that is left is to complete the challenge and you are good to go.

Huge thanks to Quick Tips for the information on where the chests are and how to get them. If you want to see a more visual guide, you can check out their YouTube video!
