Dumbledore Ancient Magic Build – Hogwarts Legacy Build Guide

Talents

Going for the Core spells in the Dumbledore build is essential and crucial.

You are going to choose the ones that are shown above, and can even go the extra mile and go for all of them if they suit your playstyle.

You can choose some of these Dark Arts talent perks too. It is no secret that Dumbledore would have needed to use these spells and in the game, they are simply far too powerful to go skipping out on.

Do not choose Avada Kedavra or anything to ruin the immersion, but these are basically essential.

For the other types of spells and talents, we recommend that you choose whatever suits your playstyle. These on top are the ones needed talking about since they’re the most important in the build.

Dumbledore is a very versatile and powerful wizard, so really whatever else you pick in the talents will suit him.

Spells

The first spell that we shall be starting out with is Arresto Momentum.

This is a control spell that will grab the enemies and stop them for a certain amount of them. It is the most important spell in the build because it isolates enemies in the fight and will allow you to take care of them easily.

Yet another control spell that isn’t from the dark arts talent tree and will suit Dumbledore very nicely is the Glacius spell.

This is actually the theme of this control-oriented build and it will take an enemy and freeze them completely. Now you are able to use every other damaging spell on them.

The knocking spell by the name of Depuslo is the third pick for the Dumbledore build.

This can be seen in both the books and the movies and it basically pushes enemies back while doing a lot of damage to them. You can easily take care of big enemies by knocking them into death pits.

This is the best spell when it comes to AoE battle situations, and most of them are.

Incendio works very well with this build and we strongly recommend that it is one of the first spells that you upgrade the most. Dumbledore is known for these types of spells and this is the closest that we can get in the game.

Gear & Traits

The only trait that you should be using with Dumbledore for this build is the Ancient Magic Focus or the Ancient Magic 3.

Place this on top of every 6 pieces of gear that you have and the build will whine with a lot of magic and immersion.

Here are all the individual pieces of gear that you can be using to make your Hogwarts Legacy Dumbledore the strongest:

  • Handwear – Black Rivet Gloves
  • Facewear – Sanguine Mask
  • Headwear – Light Herbologist Hat
  • Outfit – Emerald Highland Attire
  • Cloaks and Robes – Heraldic Longcoat

That is everything that you need to know about making a Dumbledore Ancient Magic build in Hogwarts Legacy.

A big thank you for the helpful details and information given by Fextralife.
