Would you believe that being a student wizard also means that you will be dealing with chemistry classes? If you don’t like science, there’s nothing to worry about! After all, we’re talking about potions.

Aside from a magic wand, a wizard is nothing without their potions. That is why the game will teach you how to brew potions as early as you play the game.

One of the first and most important potions that you will learn here is the Wiggenweld Potion or the healing potion. Since you will be needing a lot of it, here is a guide on how to farm lots of it.

How to Farm Healing Potions

Wiggenweld Potion is the basic potion that you will get to learn while playing the game. In fact, you can get the recipe for this potion in J. Pippin’s Potions shop for free.

Once you have the ability to brew this potion, the only thing left to do is collect the ingredients which are Dittany Leaves and Horklump Juice. This also requires 15 seconds to finish brewing.

However, the common problem that you will face here is how to collect enough ingredients to provide yourself with enough healing potions.

Here’s how:

Farming Dittany Leaves

Ditanny Leaves a bit easier to farm. You can simply plant it in one of your pots in the Room of Requirement.

You can buy Dittany Seeds at The Magic Neep shop within Hogsmeade. It will only take you 10 minutes for it to be fully grown.

Since there are more than two pots available in your room, planting Dittany Seeds on each of them will give you five Dittany Leaves every 10 minutes.

Farming Horklump Juice

The Horklump Juice is not easy to find, but here’s a trick for you.

Go to the World Map and look for Treasure Vaults around. Once you arrive in one, run around or roam around the surrounding areas for a high possibility to get four or five Horklump Juices.

However, you have to wait for another three days for them to respawn.

But to make days go faster, just let your character rest to quickly end the day. When three days have already passed, you can go back to those areas and farm more Horklump Juices.

Once you have enough ingredients, you can then start brewing as many Wiggenweld potions as you want.
