Hogwarts Legacy recently came out on the Nintendo Switch after enjoying almost a whole year of being released in other platforms. With an influx of new players comes more people and completionists trying to unlock everything in this vast game. This guide will help you in unlocking all of the brooms in the game, which are mainly aesthetic, though some of them do look pretty cool!
All Brooms Locations
Barring any new additions via DLC in the future, if they ever create some, there are a total of only thirteen brooms within the game.
Some of them are fairly easy to get, while the others may require you to go through some challenges first before you can acquire them.
Brooms #1 to #5
The first five brooms in the game can all be bought from the Spintwitches Sporting Needs store, which can be found within Hogsmeade.
This store contains the following brooms:
- Ember Dash
- Hogwarts House Broom
- Moon Trimmer
- Wind Wisp
- Yew Weaver
They can all be purchased at a relatively low price, and you can always come back to this seller if you would rather not spend all your money on these brooms all at once.
Sky Scythe Broom
The Sky Scythe Broom is another one that’s pretty easy to find. It can be purchased from an NPC known as Leopold Babcocke.
He can be found near the East North Ford Bog fast travel point in Hogsmeade Valley.
It is a relatively expensive broom with a whopping 5,000 price tag, though it is absolutely worth it because of its sleek aesthetic and bright green gristles.
Silver Arrow Broom
This is another expensive one that you can get, but it requires quite a bit of work compared to some of the other brooms.
First, you will have to complete the Carted Away quest, as this will unlock the necessary vendor for the Silver Arrow Broom.
With the quest completed, you will be able to find the NPC named Arn in Hogwarts Valley, and from him, you can purchase the Silver Arrow Broom.
Family Antique Broom
This one can be purchased from Priya Treadwell, who can be found somewhere near the edge of the South Sea Bog.
It costs less than some of the other purchasable brooms in this list, though it may not be the best-looking one of the bunch.
Aeromancer Broom
The Aeromancer Broom is purchased from an NPC named Rohan Prakash, who can be found within the southeastern corner of Poidsear Coast.
It costs 3,000 coins, making it cheaper than the Sky Scythe and Silver Arrow, but slightly more expensive than the Family Antique Broom.
Brooms #10 to #13
The last four brooms require you to finish the “Pop Balloons” challenge, which involves going around the map and popping sets of giant balloons scattered all throughout the world.
There are a total of over 30 sets to be found in the game, but you only need to complete around half of these to unlock the final four brooms.
The names of the brooms are as follows:
- Night Dancer
- Lickety Swift
- Wild Fire
- Bright Spark
And that’s how you unlock all of the brooms in Hogwarts Legacy! Some of them require other activities to be finished first, but it’s absolutely worth doing especially if you’re going for 100% completion!
