Hogwarts Legacy is filled with mysteries that you can uncover by wandering about in the Forbidden Forest, Hogsmeade, Hogwarts Castle, and many more.

One of them is a Hedge Maze puzzle that can reward you with excellent loot if you solve it. This guide will help you navigate the maze puzzle to locate the chest inside.

How to Solve the Hedge Maze Puzzle in Lower Hogsfield

To start, you want to head over to Lower Hogsfield to find the Hedge Maze puzzle. You can see it on the map with a maze icon.

Fast-travel to the Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame, then travel southwest to reach it.

Once you reach the area, you will find an archway and a book resting on some branches. Collect the book to receive A Horticultural History of the Blackwood Maze, Part One.

After collecting it, pass through the archway, and the maze will appear.

To find the treasure inside the maze, walk straight, then take a right upon reaching a dead end.

Keep going straight and turn left after another dead end. After that, go to the right, take a left turn, go another right, and then do another left.

Simply follow the path as it will lead you to the Legendary Chest in the center.

Upon reaching the Chest, the maze will disappear, and you can then open it to obtain a random Legendary Gear.

If you get an unidentified gear, you can reveal it using the Desk of Description which you can find in the Room of Requirement.
