Time Trials can be quite fun in video games, specially if they’re just the right amount of challenge and fun. The newest game out there, Hogwarts Legacy, lets you play as a student and Hogwarts, and that means flying with brooms! And you can bet your chocolate frog that there are some time trials in the game in the form of broom trials! Take your skills with the broom and see if you can beat everyone in these races! In this guide we’ll show you how to do one of the quests that require you to do a broom race!
Sweeping the Competition Quest Guide – Hogwarts Legacy
There’s a lot of quests in Hogwarts Legacy and some of them can be quite boring like just going to a place to deliver some potions. Then there are quests where it’s actually exciting like the Sweeping the Competition quest where you get to do broom races! The quest starts off with you having to purchase a broom enhancement from Albie Weekes.

The broom enhancement might be a bit expensive at this point in the game so you’ll have to sell some stuff to get the upgrade.
Once you’ve gotten the broom upgrade you’ll then need to head pretty down south to get to the next part of the quest, good thing you’ve upgraded your broom so you can test it out!
Talk to the NPC there and it’ll start the next part of the quest which is the Hogwarts South Broom Trial to continue the quest. Try to get faster than the best time!
Once the time trial is over you’ll then need to talk to Albie Weekes to complete the quest!
