In this guide, we shall show you everything that you need to know about solving it. Let’s get started.

The Key of Admittance Puzzle Solution – Hogwarts Legacy

The first thing to know is that you need to actually complete the main story quest called Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial which is about 80% in the main progress of the game.

Once you complete this one, the stairs leading up will unlock and you can get to the Key of Admittance.

Map Location

This is where you need to go to be able to get to the Key of Admittance.

Just get on top of this tower in the center of Hogwarts. Follow the staircases as well as get through the iron gate.

Getting The Key Of Admittance

At the top, you are going to reach the room shown above and the chest and rewards are going to be on the left side of the entrance. Just loot the chest from the desk and use Alohomora to open up the locked door too.

Once you get past the door you will want to continue climbing up. Just use the outside stairs and keep going higher and higher while also using Alohomora to unlock all the doors.

When you enter the final and highest room in Hogwarts at the tower you will find the Key of Admittance just sitting on the desk. You can pick it up now.

Now just go back to the Admittance Room which is located just one floor beneath the one where you opened the door to go higher outside of the tower. You can find a lot of dragons leading up to the door so you’ll know you’re in the right direction.

Once you use the key to open it, all of the rewards inside it are yours and the Admittance Puzzle will be solved. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you out with what needs to be done in order to open up the Door of Admittance with the Key. Have fun doing it yourself!
