Honor of Kings is a MOBA mobile game that takes inspiration from popular MOBA games like League of Legends and Mobile Legends. Honor of Kings takes everything fun from MOBA and brings you a fantastic gaming experience if you want to have fun. The game features a lot of heroes from different franchises and history as well. You can find characters from SNK, a fighting game franchise, in Honor of Kings. One of those characters is Charlotte, a heroic knight that can skewer her opponents with her blade. If you want to play as this gallant hero, then you have come to the right place. In this guide, I will show you how you can play as Charlotte.
Complete Charlotte Guide
If you want to understand how you can fight against your enemies with this hero, then you need to be acquainted with her skills first. This is always the best way to learn how to play as a hero.
Skills
Just like all of the other heroes in Honor of Kings, Charlotte has a total of four skills: Passive Skill, 2 Active Skills, and an Ultimate Skill. These are what will help you turn the tides of battle when you are engaged in combat with your enemy. So remember what these skills can do, as they might save your life if you use them correctly.
Splash Gradation (Passive Skill)
Starting with Charlotte’s Passive Skill, Splash Gradation is an amazing Passive because it not only enhances your follow up skill for an even powerful damage, but you can also enhance your Basic Attack. This skill requires you to hit an enemy with an Active Skill or your Ultimate. Once it hits, you will get a stack of Mark, which can stack up to 5 times.
You can spend up to 3 Marks to then enhance the damage of your next Basic Attack. Each Mark spent will increase the damage that will occur when your attack hits.
Tri Slash (Active Skill)
Charlotte’s first Active Skill, Tri Slash, starts with a short delay as Charlotte charges the attack. Charlotte then unleashes Tri Slash, attacking in the direction of the enemy she is facing. Like the name suggests, three slashes will be attempted to hit an enemy, each slash dealing more damage than the last. You also get an increased Movement Speed for a short while.
There is another follow up to this skill, which doesn’t offer too much difference besides Charlotte now doing twice as damage. The Movement Speed buff still applies here.
Splash Fount (Active Skill)
Splash Fount, Charlotte’s second Active Skill, has Charlotte dash forward in the direction of a nearby target and slashes several times. When each attack hits, Charlotte’s health recovers each time. A great skill to get Charlotte back in fighting form while also still dealing damage.
Power Gradation (Ultimate Skill)
Her Ultimate, Power Gradation, starts with Charlotte carving a seven pointed star around her. This will damage and even inflict Slow on any enemies that are caught in the attack. This Ultimate then grants Charlotte Immunity and damage reduction. It’s a great way to give yourself a fighting chance if you are surrounded by enemies.
Combo
Charlotte is a fantastic character thanks to this one combo that can decimate any enemy that Charlotte encounters.
- Skill 1 – Skill 2 – Ultimate Skill – Basic Attack
As the combo says, you will start with Tri Slash to damage your enemies and get an increase in Movement Speed. When Splash Fount is activated, you can then get some health back that you will lose when doing this combo when Charlotte starts attacking enemies in front. Finally, you can then use the Power Gradation Ultimate to inflict damage, Slow on your enemies, all while granting yourself Immunity and damage reduction.
Arcana
Arcana’s are required to make your character the best they can be. Obviously, we can’t slap any Arcana on Charlotte and expect her to do better. You need a specific set of Arcana set to actually have her perform well.
Here are her recommended Arcana’s:
- Conflict
- Eagle Eye
- Hunter
Item Build
Lastly, we have the item build. Items are just as important as Arcana’s when you’re building your Charlotte to work better. Here are her first set of items:
- Frostscar’s Grip
- Boots of Resistance
- Star Breaker
Here are also some good items to use if you can find them as well:
- Nightmare
- Destiny
- Ominous Premonition
