Aside from the usual machine enemies in Horizon Forbidden West, you will also find that the land is teeming with wildlife. One of the wildlife animals you will encounter is crabs. This guide will show you where you can find crabs in Horizon Forbidden West.
Crab Location – Horizon Forbidden West
You will find crabs in Horizon Forbidden West near beach areas, by the sand. To hunt down crabs, go to the beach area on the map below.
This area is just to the west of the Maw of the Arena. You will also find some campfires around the area.
To find crabs, simply walk along the sandy beach and you should find quite a few. Crabs are not uncommon but they can only be found in the beach areas. They are also easy to spot but they can be small targets.
Using your focus mode can make them more visible but they should stand out in the sand. To hunt down a crab successfully, zoom in using your bow to take a more precise shot.
NOTE: They can burrow underneath the sand when alerted so keep your distance.
Search the crab to get its loot after hunting it down. Crabs can give you Shellfish Claws and Iridescent Crab Shell.
