The world of Horizon is full of technology that is buried underneath. There, you can find tech that is still operating, despite the humans in the new world has learned to live without it.
Aloy is one of the first people in the new world to adapt and learn the technology that was left behind, making her an expert on the matter despite being so young. She uses her trusty Focus to help guide her into uncharted territory and find things like a charged Energy Cell to open doors.
In this guide, we’ll show you where to find one too.
Find a Charged Energy Cell – Horizon Forbidden West
When you get the objective to find a new Charged Energy Cell, you will need to go through this room and to the door on the left.
In the room, you will need to crawl through this space in order to reach the next area.
In the next rooms, you will find a hallway to the left. Go through it and look through the window on the right. You should see a Charged Energy Cell on the other side. However, the door is locked.
Move a bit more to the left until you can see the wall on the right. There, you will find a grappling point that you can use to bring the wall down.
After bringing the wall down and getting the Charged Energy Cell, go back out and enter this room where you can find a Firegleam. Ignite it so you can blow a hole in the wall and use that to go back into the room you were just in.
Put the Energy Cell in the socket and you can now watch the recording in the next room.
