How To Upgrade The Specter Gauntlet | Burning Shores DLC | Horizon Forbidden West
Getting the Specter Gauntlet is as easy as progressing through the main quest line of the Burning Shores DLC. You start with “To The Burning Shores” up until you get to “The Stars in Their Eyes” where you have to inspect one of the weapons you find lying around. This is where the beauty of useful side quests come into play next.
Go to Fleet’s End to start a new quest called “In His Wake”, follow the objectives until you’re told to loot Pirik’s weapon from his cold dead hands. You’ll get a Railgun Component later for free since the current owner is permanently unconscious at the moment to have a say in the matter.
All you have to do next is visit any workshop and upgrade the Specter Gauntlet through the Quest Item option. The upgrade installs a Zenith weapon component, which allows you to easily penetrate through armor every time you fire a charged shot towards anyone who looks at you twice.
You’ll also get an achievement for upgrading the gauntlet if you’re gunning for a completionist run, now go and get those upgrades before you think of finishing the campaign!
