The sixth quest in Horizon Forbidden West, The Dying Lands is an exciting adventure to play into. On this quest, you’ll need to navigate to the Repair Bay Core, among other objectives. This guide will show you how to complete the main quest and other details you need to know on your journey.

You’ll first arrive at Stone’s Echo. First, join Zo and Varl in Plainsong and talk to them. After collecting your needed resources, next is to go to the Chorus and convince them that you’re ready.

Soon you’ll be asked to follow Zo to the Cordon—on your path will be machines that are invading the land. Be sure to kill them before you’re at risk. For Clawstriders, aim at their backs and tails to kill them fast. After destroying most of them, continue to your path and collect resources along the way.

When you reach the Cordon, you’ll be asked to enter and explore the Sacred Cave. Near the blocked wall, go to your right and climb your way upwards for an alternative path. Upon reaching the end of the trail, jump to the other side and follow the path downwards.

This time you’ll arrive at a cauldron door, override it and enter the Repair Bay. You’ll be met by Leaplashers on your path; after killing them, go north and override another cauldron door and enter the tunnel.

Next, you’ll be asked to find your way up. Do this by stepping on the floor platform and shooting the glowing switches on the machines to pull them down. After locking them up, climb on them by grabbing those attached glowing bars.

At this point, you’ll be seeing another platform. First, go to the leftmost part of the path and shoot a broken glass to enter an upper room with a crate. Drag the crate through the panel and put it over the platform to activate it permanently. Shoot another two switches to lock the pillars for your way across.

Carefully follow the path and go on another floor platform. Shoot the final set of switches to go upwards. Follow the path to the left and override HEPTASUS’s cables. After this, enter another tunnel and continue trailing the path to the left.

To continue to the second network uplink, follow the narrow plank and wait for the branch to lock up and guide you to the other plank. Use your climbing skills and go further upwards. On your left, you’ll see another network uplink to override.

After doing so, continue your path north. Glide your way across to the other floor panel. Further, go up by using the retractable bars on your left. Continue climbing upwards and enjoy a ride on one of those metal carriers.

You’ll soon arrive on another platform. This time, glide your way downwards and override the final network uplink. Next, enter the unlocked cauldron and follow the path. For the final task, override the locked cauldron door on the end of the path.

And that’s it! You’ve completed the Go to the Repair Bay Core quest. After beating the final boss—the Grimhorn, you’ll receive rewards and complete the overall The Dying Lands main quest.
