If you’ve been grinding in Anime Last Stand and thought, “Man, I wish I could just AFK and still rack up frost crystals,” you’re in luck. I’ve got a method that can net you around 1,500 frost crystals per hour, all while you sit back, relax, and maybe grab a snack. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the boosts, potions, MVP strategy, and what to expect along the way.

Step 1: Prep Your Boosts and Potions

Use Boosts and Potions to AFK farm frost crystals in Anime Last Stand.

Before you start, you’ll want to set up your frost crystal boosters. The ingredient booster comes from in-game codes, and you can get two per account. Even if you don’t have any active at the start of your run, it stacks nicely when you do. The drop potion can be purchased from bundles, and previously it was available in the Halloween shop. These potions are insanely powerful and massively increase frost crystal drops. Personally, I managed around 220 crystals in a single run using them.

Step 2: Grab Some MVP Help

To maximize your drops, having MVP is key. You can achieve this by playing with two other players or using two additional accounts alongside your main account. Unlike other games where MVP just boosts rewards, in Anime Last Stand, MVP actually increases your drop chances, which is essential if you’re aiming for high AFK yields.

Step 3: Enter Infinite Mode and AFK

Enter Infinite Mode and AFK with MVP, Boosts and Potions to farm frost crystals in Anime Last Stand.

Once you have your boosts and MVP setup, enter Infinite Mode, play Purgatory and let the game do its thing. Just upgrade your units when needed and defend your base. Don’t worry if your early waves are slow, drops scale as the game progresses. Sometimes the game has a weird bug where your loot resets, but the best approach is to keep upgrading and feeding your units. Eventually, the frost crystals will start rolling in.

Step 4: Understanding Drop Mechanics

In the early waves, drops are roughly one-to-one, meaning for every wave you clear, you get roughly the same number of frost crystals. As you move into higher waves, the drop rate scales up. Mini bosses drop significantly more crystals than regular enemies, so pay attention when they appear. Even free units like Guts and Yuji can help you farm effectively, especially now that stronger characters like Kisuke have been nerfed.

Step 5: Watch Your Progress

Watch Your Progress while farming frost crystals in Anime Last Stand.

By wave 31, you should have about 20 frost crystals with boosts and MVP. Around wave 60, the number of crystals will start to increase more steadily. By wave 100, you can expect to see rewards close to 100 frost crystals even on a mediocre run. In a full 12–13 minute run reaching wave 150, I managed roughly 224 frost crystals, which scales up to about 1,500 per hour. Even if your run is laggy or your luck isn’t perfect, this method still works because your units are doing most of the heavy lifting.

Wrap-Up

AFK farming frost crystals in Anime Last Stand is a surprisingly efficient way to build your resources without burning out. With the right boosts, potions, and MVP setup, you can casually earn 1,500 crystals per hour. Simply let the waves roll in, upgrade strategically, and watch the numbers climb. Your frost crystal stash will thank you.
