Players take on the role of the Steward of New London in this city-building game called Frostpunk 2 where you must strategically collect supplies, find food and other resources, and advance technology in various ways before your people succumb to the harsh weather.
If you’re on the path to advancement, you cannot do it without the Logistics District. Let’s see how to build one.
How to Build & Use Logistics District
Here’s what we’ll show you in this guide.
- Building the Logistics District
- Using the Logistics District
At the end of this guide, you should be able to understand how this facility works and to use it for more discoveries and help in collecting various resources.
Building the Logistics District
Players will need to first build their Logistics Districts. You’re supposed to build these districts on an Old Waystation. In the first chapter, you’ll come across three of them.
You can spot one in one of the corners of the Level 1 map. Once you find the old waystation you’d like to build the Logistics District one, you’ll need to break the area and make your way to it. Break up all the area around to clear your path and get rid of frosts.
You’ll also need to ensure that you break up enough of an area on the designated spot since you’ll need to expand your Logistics Districts later on in the game.
Now, for the building part, go to the option to construct that’s the first option on the bottom right of the screen. From there, go to Logistics Buildings that’s on the far right-hand side.
Next, build the logistics on top of the old waystation icon and then some around it, as well. And that’s how you build the Logistics district. Now all you have to do is wait till it’s done building. Let’s see how to use it once it’s done building.
Using the Logistics District
Once it’s built, you’re going to need to zoom out. When you do that, you’ll see a couple of icons around. Click on these icons and you’ll see that they require Frostland Teams. To check your Frostland team status, hover over the second icon that’s in the top right corner.
Not all of the icon’s activities require frost land teams but some do. For the ones that do, you can click on it and that will reduce the number of your frostland teams currently available.
Your frostland teams will determine the activities you can perform in the open snow area. You can click on a section, then click “Launch expedition” and it’ll take 10 frostland teams for you to launch it.
Naturally, for more expeditions at once, you’ll need some more frostland teams. To get more teams, either upgrade your existing teams or build more in other sections.
We recommend that you first try building some more before you go toward upgrades.
Once you launch an expedition, hover over that section and you’ll see how long the expedition will take. Additionally, the top right corner will show a percentage of how long your team will be on this expedition. Basically how far they are on the journey.
Logistics Districts are a very important element to progress well in the game. Once you build one, we recommend that you build some more right away so they can embark on their expedition to various places, bring you some materials, and increase your population in the most quickest and efficient way possible!
