Sometimes waypoints just aren’t enough, sure they can point you in the right direction, but what if the path ahead has no clear way of telling you how to get across? This is what most players are going through right now in Horizon Forbidden West’s most recent DLC, To The Burning Shores, aside from figuring out how to make rent this month of course.
In this guide you’ll learn how to climb the tower and deactivate the control node that’s sitting on top of it. Your best friend here will be the color yellow so be on the lookout for that!
Horizon Forbidden West | Burning Shores | How to Climb Up the Tower
Scaling the tower with Seyka will be your next objective after you kill the Bilegut, you can keep an eye on her as she makes her way to the top, or play the game the right way and wander off and explore. Every time she gets stuck is a perfect time to whip out your Pullcaster and start yanking on the various cracks above you.
Speaking of cracks here’s your first customer! Nobody needs this section of the roof anyway, let some air pass through by breaking the ceiling, climb through the hole you just made by using the makeshift ladder to your right. Make a right turn the moment you get to the next floor and head straight up the ramp towards the next set of ladders to continue.
The next floor can be navigated in two ways, for now you can just take the narrow left path to meet back with Seyka in the adjacent room where another set of ladders are waiting. Climb those and yank the emergency ladder at the very top to allow Seyka to move.
Run back past the ladder you just climbed to access the ledges directly above it, these will lead you up to the next floor.
Jump across the room and do a flamboyant circus act to open the vent on the other side. Make a left turn to exit to the next room to find more ledges heading upwards.
Glide to the ledge over at the other side without looking down, after that grab on to the ledges that lean to the right. This will lead you to a floor where you can find some ancient valuables, go up one more floor and there will be an exit with another box nearby along with a downed Waterwing.
And you’re basically at the top at this point! The next ledge can be found next to a rusty ramp sitting on top of some debris, if you still can’t find that then look to the left of the campfire you just lit!
