Water is very important for us humans and of course in animals but since we’re in a video game the sole purpose is to survive in the wilderness we best make sure we are constantly hydrated because not only you will get thirsty but your character in the game as well is gonna have some trouble in their stamina so without further ado we will be guiding you on how to drink water in Sons of the Forest.
Sons of The Forest – How to Drink Water
Finding a lake or pond with plenty of water is the first thing you should do after being spawned in a random world.
If you were not spawned near a pond or a lake then you better start exploring and make sure not to expend so much energy in doing so while traveling because it will tire your character out.
When you come across a river, lake, or pond nearby, simply move toward the water. If you have any equipment on your hand, try to sheathe it first.
Next, instruct your character to look down into the water. When you notice an “E” indicator with a water icon on it, simply press “E” on your keyboard and your character will start to drink.
Note that you need to sheathe your weapon or items first because your character can’t drink water if you’re holding something, any items or weapons apply so you must unequip them.
