Ah diamonds, you either have enough of them safely stacked and hidden somewhere within the confines of your dwarven-inspired settlement or you’re on your way to steal some from your neighbor only to claim it as yours once they start looking. Upon gathering the basic necessities in Minecraft Legends like wood, stone, iron, and an army, you will eventually start looking for Diamonds as well.

But how do you find them? Are there any major changes made toward gathering the resource? And do I still need to dig close to the bedrock? Well, yes and no, with how the game works it’s more forgiving to find diamonds now. Read the guide and you’ll know why!

Minecraft Legends – How to Find Diamonds

Finding Diamonds in Minecraft Legends won’t require you to dig and overshoot all the way to the center of the earth anymore, instead, you can find the resource in two separate biomes on the surface.

They look exactly the same as what you’re used to seeing in a normal Minecraft game, the only thing that will make the journey difficult is your mount so consider sitting on a Brilliant Beetle whenever you start hunting.

You know the two magic words when it comes to looking for biomes, those would be “procedurally” and “generated”, so we won’t be able to provide a map for you as every session will be different.

Keep that in mind on your next trip going to the Jagged Peaks or the Tundra. Diamonds can be found here on the side of the mountains, they can also spawn at the highest peak of one if you’re incredibly unlucky. That’s why you have the bug mount, to make the climb less death-inducing.

Going to the Tundra is considered a breath of fresh air as the diamonds you’re looking for will mostly be on flat land. Regardless of the biome that’s closest, gathering them won’t be too much of an issue as there are plenty of diamonds to go around for everyone, excluding the opposing team.

Before you start carving the side of a mountain, you will need to erect an Improvement Hub first and follow up with building the Improvement: Gather Diamond structure.

It will need some Prismarine shards first along with some stone and wood so go and knock out a few Piglin structures first.

After you have enough, go back to your base and build the structure. The diamond option will be made available on your toolbar once you place down the improvement needed, now you can tell your Allays to gather diamonds for you instead of lumber!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
