Expeditions certainly may be the main source of content in Elden Ring Nightreign – but that doesn’t mean you’ll spend your whole time doing them. The game features various other quests – which includes Remembrance quests. You can obtain a variety of rewards – which includes relics and skins. One such class that you can do remembrance quests for is the Recluse. At one point, you’ll need to locate the person lurking in the Roundtable Hold – which is a very vague objective. In this guide, we’ll show you how you can complete the chapter. With that said, let’s dive in!

How to Find Person Lurking in the Roundtable Hold

Finding the person lurking in the roundtable is just one objective of Chapter 6, for the Recluse’s Remembrance quest. This chapters features various vague objectives – as is customary of From Software games.

Kill Imposter Iron Menial

Starting off, you’ll need to locate the person lurking in Roundtable Hold. To do that, head to the Sparring Grounds, where you will also see the icon for the Iron Menial.

Once you arrive here, you’ll see the Iron Menial sharpening a sword. This NPC may look like the Iron Menial and talk like him – but he is actually an imposter.

So, attack the Iron Menial and deplete his entire HP bar – even if he protests.

Killing Iron Menial

When the Iron Menial dies, it will reveal itself to be the Witch of the Wheel. Talk to her and exhaust her dialogue, making sure to interact with her multiple times until she starts repeating her lines.

At the end, she will give you a clue as to where the actual Iron Menial is hiding.

Find The Crypt

After you’re done talking to the Witch of the Wheel, head inside to the Roundtable Hold and make your way to the Crypt. If you haven’t been there already, you can go there by taking the stairs down near the Small Jar Bazaar.

You’ll see a door open here that will further lead underground into the crypt.

Help The Iron Menial

Once you arrive in the crypt, look into the corner near the graves and you should see the Iron Menial’s body on the ground. Go up to it and interact with it. Select the Yes option when asked to Recalibrate the doll’s magic root.

Reviving Iron Menial

After the Iron Menial is revived, he will blame you for the incident. But select the option to Explain the situation to him and he will calm down.

Exhaust the dialogue after that and the conversation will be over. However, you’ll need to interact with the Iron Menial again and ask him About the Witch of the Wheel to proceed. This will lead to even further dialogue.

About the Witch of the Wheel

Once he’s done talking about the Witch of the Wheel, talk to the Iron Menial one more time. He will then thank you for saving him and give you a reward.

This is the Bone-Like Stone Relic unique only to the Recluse. This relic offers the following effects:

  • Activating Ultimate Art raises Max HP
  • Suffer blood loss and increase attack power upon Art activation
  • Intelligence +3

After you accept the reward, head to the remembrance gateway in the crypt to conclude the Remembrance quest. You will be able to equip the relic when you return to the Roundtable Hold.
