You can find Redthroat Ridge very early into the game, once you’re given free rein to explore the Grum County region.

Using the village of Eltisweiss as a starting point, you simply need to head all the way to the eastern edge of Grum County.

Redthroat Ridge entrance

Just follow the road leaving the area to the east and you’ll enter Redthroat Ridge itself!

Do make sure to prepare well enough, though. It’s the first optional dungeon of the game, so it’s not too tough. Nonetheless, never underestimate your foes!

Ideally, you will want to be at least Level 7 or so when heading into the dungeon itself. For reference, the final boss of the dungeon is Level 11.

Altverden Village location

It would also be a good idea to first venture out to the west of Grum County, to Altverden Village. You can meet Kuroto there, who will give you a quest to hunt boars in Redthroat Ridge.

We recommend starting his quest as soon as possible since it will let you recruit Kuroto!

Speaking of recruits, you can also recruit the magical girl Melliore once you clear the dungeon. She’ll appear after you defeat the boss at the end of the dungeon and offer to join you.

But well, that’s all you need to know to find Redthroat Ridge and some of the key aspects of the dungeon in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Have fun hunting enemies and bolstering your party with some promising new recruits!
