Arresto Momentum is one of the most useful spells in Hogwarts Legacy if you wanted to immobilize an enemy and literally open up their defense to a lot of your attacks.

In this guide, we shall show you everything that you need to do in order to get the Arresto Momentum unlocked and ready for use. Let’s get started.

Hogwarts Legacy – How to Get Arresto Momentum

You are going to need to complete the assignments given to you by the professor named Madam Kogawa. The location in the picture above is where you are able to start them both.

These are the assignments:

  • Practice flying near the Spires – 5
  • Practice flying near Keenbridge Tower – 5

Once you complete both of them, you shall need to go back to the professor and do the correct spell pattern and you will learn the Arresto Momentum spell.

Practice Flying Near The Spires

You need to come over to this very same location as shown above. Make sure that you are in the exactly same place as the player cursor because there will be a total of 5 balloons that you need to pop.

As you’re here, just keep on moving toward the highlighted location and you can see them all. You need to actually fly through them to be able to pop them.

Practice Flying Near Keenbridge Tower

This is basically the same thing that you need to do just on the eastern side of the map or near the Keenbridge Tower.

Make sure that you are also in the location of the player cursor and then keep on flying toward the highlighted square. The reason behind this is that you may collect all 5 balloons in one flying session.

This is how the flying through the balloons needs to look for both of the assignments.

Once you complete them both, go back to the professor and you will get Arresto Momentum. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you out in learning this very useful spell. Have fun flying around the map yourself!
