The Evil Pitchfork is one of the most powerful fishing rods in Fisch, perfect for farming rare mutations, boosting aquarium profits, and catching high-value fish. But don’t expect to grab it off the shelf, it requires quests, rare fish, and some crafting finesse. Lucky for you, I’ve gone through it all, so here’s the ultimate guide to snagging the Evil Pitchfork efficiently.
Step 1: Meet the Requirements

Before diving into the quest, make sure you:
- Reach level 500 (if you’re not there yet, check leveling guides first).
- Complete the preliminary quest to obtain the Evil Sigil, required to craft the rod.
Once you tick these boxes, you’re ready to start the main questline.
Step 2: Access the Luminescent Cavern
Most quest objectives are in the Luminescent Cavern, so get ready:
- Locate the entrance and tweak your brightness and saturation to see clearly.
- Prepare for tricky tunnels and dark areas, it’s not exactly a leisurely stroll.
This cavern also connects to the Crimson Cavern, where some quest-specific fish spawn.
Step 3: Collect the Quest Fragments & Obtain Evil Sigil
To get the Evil Sigil, you’ll need five crown fragments to show to the Crimson King. Here’s how to get each one:
Fragment 1: Tilli’s Fragment

- Talk to Tilli inside the Luminescent Cavern.
- Found to the left on a ledge upon entering the Crimson Cavern.
- Collect five plants randomly scattered around the area.
- Return to Tilli to claim the fragment.
Fragment 2: Rokko’s Fragment

- Talk to Rokko, found on the middle island.
- Show a Colossal Ancient Dragon, caught in the Crimson Cavern (Sundial Totems or radar help).
- Claim the fragment.
Fragment 3: Vimble’s Fragment

- At the Luminescent Cavern entrance, talk to Vimble.
- Left near a tree upon entering the Luminescent Cavern.
- Bring one Atlantean Emperor Jellyfish and one Atlantean Barp Shark.
- Recommended: Use a Trident Rod during a mutation surge with Aurora for higher chances.
- Magnet bait works best for the Jellyfish, and fish head bait for the Barp Shark.
- Return to Vimble to claim the fragment.
Fragment 4: Wixie’s Fragment

Can be found by going straight forward upon entering the Crimson Cavern.
To obtain it, you’ll need to collect crystals scattered through the Crimson Cavern (Red) and Luminescent Cavern (Blue). These crystals are hidden across multiple coordinates:
Crystal Locations for Wixie
Luminescent Cavern:
- GPS: -1143, -336, -4167
- GPS: -1027, -337, -4083
- GPS: -914, -331, -4123
- GPS: -1070, -334, -4272
Crimson Cavern:
- GPS: -1109, -362, -4774
- GPS: -928, -353, -4886
- GPS: -972, -340, -4898
- GPS: -1056, -339, -4950
Once you’ve gathered all crystals, return to Wixie to claim the fragment.
This is one of the trickiest fragments to find, so patience and careful exploration are key.
Fragment 5: Cepo’s Fragment

- Located at coordinates -1041, -330, -3225.
- Requires completing the lever puzzle in Luminescent Cavern and Crimson Cavern to access.
- Requires two players (or very fast solo timing).
- Pull two levers simultaneously in different Luminescent Cavern areas.
- A rumbling event triggers, rush to the Desolate Deep near the mysterious crack to grab the final fragment.
Step 4: Obtain the Evil Sigil
Once all fragments are collected, return to the Crimson King to receive the Evil Sigil, the key item for crafting the rod.
Step 5: Craft the Evil Pitchfork
- Travel to Ancient Isles → Ancient Archives (use a glider or zipline to reach the crafting area).
- Use the Evil Sigil and 20 million credits to craft the rod.
Congratulations! You now have the Evil Pitchfork.
How to Solve Fragment Puzzle and Unlock Ancient Archives

To reach the crafting anvil:
- Solve the Fragment Puzzle in Ancient Isles.
- Place four fragments on their corresponding pillars:
- Deep Sea Fragment → Blue Pillar
- Solar Fragment → Orange Pillar
- Earth Fragment → Cyan Pillar
- Ancient Fragment → Purple Pillar
- Rotate pillars to face forward during an Eclipse.
- Have four players stand on the pressure plates simultaneously.
Once solved, the door opens permanently, and you can craft rods at the anvil surrounded by floating books.
Features of the Evil Pitchfork
This rod is a beast for grinding:
