The hunt must go on! There are still plenty of creatures out in the valley that hasn’t been showcased in your Wizards Guide Book yet, surely you have a few more hours to spare to fill it in further? Or should that time be used to farm more materials instead?

Well if it’s the latter you’re after you still have to do both. Niffler Fur should be the next thing on your grocery list. It’s definitely easier to get to the source than having to fight a Mountain Troll.

But with how big the valley is you’ll probably take hours to find one, wouldn’t be surprising if you end up clearing an Ashwinder camp either given how distracting exploration can be.

Hogwarts Legacy | How to Get Niffler Fur

In Hogwarts Valley, different creatures inhabit different regions, some of them can even be found in more than one place!

Make sure that you already have your Nab-sack with you before heading out as you’ll need it to take one home with you.

Your first source of Niffler Fur is by the Niffler Den over at the North Hogwarts Region, if you’ve explored this place before then the fastest way to get there should be the Collector’s Cave or the East North Hogwarts Floo Flames travel point.

The next Niffler Den is over at the Feldcroft Region just west of Hogwarts Valley and the Southsea Bog.

An easier place to get to as the den is just south of the Feldcraft Catacomb Floo Flame travel point.

Another location would be back at Hogwarts Valley east of Keenbridge.

You’ll have to go on a short hike for this one as it’s on top of a cliff, or you can just use your broom to get there easily.

And that’s it! All you have to do after catching one is to take care of them in your Vivarium and they’ll start shedding like crazy.

You should get about 3 units of Niffler fur upon interacting with these brightly colored raccoons (they like stealing) every 30 minutes or so.

If there’s anything else within the three locations that you would like to get a closer look at then considers using the Hogwarts Legacy interactive map for more details.

Now go out there and get harvesting!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
