If you’re looking to boost your star count and unlock all the weapons and equipment in BRM5, you’re in the right place. Apart from money, stars are essential unlockables that dictate which tier of weapons you can buy. Meaning even if you have the money for something, you will still need to gain an item’s corresponding stars to unlock it.

So how do you get the stars? And how much time will it take for you to get to 5 stars? This article aims to answer just that and much more.

Blackhawk Rescue Mission 5 – How To Get The Stars

Stars essentially act as a measurement of your in-game progress. They are a sort of progression system that keeps new players from accessing top-tier weapons and gives an incentive to them to keep playing the game. New stars can be unlocked by gaining sufficient experience points (EXP). There are a total of 5 stars players who can unlock, but there is no limit on how EXP you can grind. However, gaining EXP after you’ve unlocked all 5 stars is virtually useless.

With that said, let’s get straight into how you can unlock each star in BRM5:

Star 1

After gaining 10,000 EXP, players can unlock the first star. This amount of EXP is equal to about 200 enemy kills in PVP or 1,000 basic enemy types in PVE. Unlocking this star grants you access to three new vehicles and one headgear accessory.

Star 2

Star 2 can be unlocked after gaining a total of 30,000 EXP. It is equal to 400 enemy kills in PVP and 2,000 basic enemy kills in PVE. This star allows you to purchase three additional vehicles (including a helicopter) and one headgear accessory.

Star 3

You can gain the third star after getting a total of 60,000 EXP, which is equal to 800 player enemy kills in PVP or 4,000 RLF/POD kills in PVE. Star 3 is essentially the best star to unlock as it grants players access to three vehicles, a vest, a uniform, a headgear, and a headgear accessory.

Star 4

This star is considered to be the worst one to unlock, as it does not reward you with access to any new equipment as of writing this. Nevertheless, you’ll still need to accumulate 100,000 EXP to unlock it. This is equal to 800 player enemy kills in PVP or 4,000 generic enemy kills in PVE.

Star 5

As the last unlockable star in the game, Star 5 requires a whopping 150,000 EXP. This can be achieved by killing 1000 players in PVP or getting 5,000 RLF/POD kills in PVE. This star grants you access to buy and request 3 new vehicles, including the infamous A-10 Thunderbolt II.

Best Ways To Gain EXP

The best way to gain EXP in BRM5 is to play the PVP mode and kill enemy players. On the off-chance that you don’t like/want to play the PVP mode, you can still grind EXP by doing quests and clearing enemy bases. Keep in mind that special enemy types (Smoker/Sniper/Advanced) grant more EXP than standard enemies.
