Look For Milk Thistle Flowers (Pink Flowers)

Starting off, the first thing you need to do is look for Milk Thistles i.e. pink flowers. These can be found all over the map – especially near the starting area. You should be able to see them if you look around from a high vantage point, like from the top of other flowers or grass blades.

However, an alternate way that we suggest looking for them is to simple open the map. Over here, you should be able to see plenty of pink spots representing the Milk Thistle Flowers. It helps to open the map during the day as you’ll be to make them out much better.

Once you find a nearby pink flower, simply make your way towards it.

Grab Thistle Needles

Once you approach the pink flower, look at the stem and you should be able to see a bunch of Thistle Needles. Start grabbing all of them – and don’t worry, Thistle Needles will respawn on the stems after some time.

You should be able to get a lot of these in one go and simply move on to the next nearest pink flower. Be sure to get all of them since they go all the way to the top of the flower. However, be careful when grabbing them as you’ll need to stand on the leaves to nab them.

You can easily fall off the leaves so keep that in mind. But yeah, it’s as simple as that and you can simply revisit the flower later on to get more Thistle Needles.

Wrap Up

That’s everything you need to know about getting Thistle Needles in Grounded 2. Now you’ll be able to progress the quest and also be able to make recipes that use these as ingredients. The Spike Traps can be great for keeping your base safe. There may be tricks that you can use to get the Thistle Needles to respawn immediately – like quitting out of the game but you’ll need to test that out. In most cases, you should be able to find plenty of Thistle Needles and won’t need to use any trick like that.
