How To Get Water In Sons Of The Forest

Avoid dying from dehydration by getting some water.

When you find yourself stranded in the middle of nowhere, one of the many resources you need in order to survive is water. Without water, you will die from dehydration, and that’s not exactly surviving out in the wilderness, isn’t it?

In the newest addition to the survival genre of gaming, Sons of the Forest is the sequel to the popular 2014 entry, The Forest. In the Sons of the Forest, you will need to survive again in a forest, which is a better place to find water than a desert. Here’s a guide on how to do just that.

Sons Of The Forest – How To Get Water

Drink from the River

There are a couple of ways to get water, and the first way is the one that is most accessible: the river.

To find the river, use your GPS and you can find the river on the map. When you get to the river, all you have to do is press E and you will then be able to drink from the unlimited source of water.

Be warned though, as the river is the safest place to drink water. Water from places like the ocean will do more harm than good, so try and avoid drinking saltwater or other places unless you are really desperate.

Yarrow Flowers

The second method of getting water is by collecting Yarrow Flowers.

These flowers contain a little bit of water if you can’t find a river. They don’t offer much, but they are a safer alternative than drinking from the ocean or other places with water.

You can also store Yarrow Flowers and save them for when you are going out on a journey somewhere far. Collect as much as you can and they will be stored in your inventory.
