How to Hack Cameras in Payday 3

The long-awaited Payday 3 is finally out, and it features an improved version of the adrenaline-pumping heist gameplay of its predecessors. For players who prefer to take a stealthier approach, they’ll want to use every tool at their disposal to avoid detection. This can involve hacking security cameras scattered around the venue of the heist. So how exactly can you do that?

How to Hack Cameras

First of all, you’ll want to ensure that you have the Hacker skill has been researched and equipped. To do this, simply go to your loadout and scroll down until you find it.

Once you do, just select it and it should start researching. This should only take you a few games to complete.

Once it’s been researched, you can now equip the Hacker skill. With the skill equipped, you now gain the ability to hack cameras by walking up to them and holding the “F” button. Doing this gives you access to the venue’s CCTV system.

If you progress through the skill line, you can also gain the ability to loop the camera’s footage to prevent it from detecting your team. A little further down the line, you will even be able to automatically mark guards within the camera’s range.
