Sons of the Forest has a lot of new things that was not featured in The Forest, the predecessor of this game. It has been 9 years after all since The Forest, and technology has come far since then, like 3D Printers becoming affordable to the general public.

Nowadays, you can find people buying 3D Printers and using them to 3D Print a lot of stuff, like Rope Gun ammo! I’m just kidding, but you can do that in the Sons of the Forest.

Sons Of The Forest – How To Make Ammo For Rope gun

In order to make ammo for the Rope Gun, you will need two things: Rope and Grappling Hook head. Rope can be found anywhere, but the Grappling Hook head is the tricky part. You will actually need to find a 3D Printer on the island in order to make some.

When you do find a 3D Printer, you can then print the Grappling Hook heads. They will cost 100 Resin, so be sure to have some on hand.

Once you have the Grappling Hook head, open your inventory and right click on it. Next, right click on the Rope.

Now that both items have been clicked on, they should be in the middle of your inventory. Click the cog on the top right of the middle space and you will then be able to combine the two items and create ammo for the Rope Gun.
