How To Pick Up Tarp in Sons Of The Forest

If you are camping out in the woods and have made it through the night, then you will have to start packing up so you can continue your journey ahead.

Sons of the Forest allows you to camp the night with the help of a Tarp and some Sticks to create a tent. But after the night has come and the sun is rising, you will then have to continue moving on.

However, how can you take down your tent and pick up your Tarp? In this guide, we will show you how to pick it up.

Sons Of The Forest – How To Pick Up Tarp

When you have your Tarp lying down on the ground, all you have to do is to approach the Tarp and hold C to pick it up.

However, there are some issues going on with the Tarp right now when trying to pick it up when it is open. Users have reported that the prompt to pick up the Tarp does not appear when there are items on top of the Tarp.

Even then, the prompt will not appear due to some detection issues.

Bear in mind that the game is still in Early Access, so this little bug will be fixed soon enough. But if you are having troubles getting the prompt to pick it up, try removing any items on top of the Tarp and stand in the middle of it and try holding C.

When your Tarp is being held up by Sticks in order to create a tent, you will have to whack the Sticks on so the Tarp will fall down on the ground.

The Tarp will be folded nicely after you do that, letting you pick it up by pressing E.
