This game has over a hundred recruitable characters and surely, you’d want all of them. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the sequel to Rising is an open-world role playing game where you take the help of recruits to find resources, involve yourself in world-building and engage in fast paced combat. You need allies for the resistance, so it’s time to go searching. Very close to you on the map is someone who’s close to you in proximity and family ready to join your alliance. It’s the main character’s Nowa’s aunt, Martha and we’ll show you how to recruit her.
How To Recruit Martha
Martha is Nowa’s Aunt, and you need her to build a Pasturage, which eventually produces food and milk over time. Having her in your team increases the materials acquired from food ingredient nodes.
SIDE NOTE: We also have complete guide on recruiting all the characters or heroes in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Make sure to check it out as well!
You can essentially take her along on your quests across the world as a Forager support member.
You can recruit Aunt Martha right after you’re done with the beginning basics of the game like finishing the tutorial, recruiting every member from the castle and when you’ve unlocked your base.
Here’s where to find Martha
Once you’ve reached the point in the story to unlock your home base town, you can go looking for Aunt Martha to recruit her.
She’s not a part of your main story and you won’t recruit her automatically, so you might have to stray away from the main game for a little while in pursuit of a new member.
After you’ve completed the introductory part of the game, like the cutscenes and when you’re allowed to free roam, players will be able to explore the town. Go to the eastern side of the town where the forestry looking area is.
You should see Aunt Martha standing there. Interact and talk to her. She will agree to leave her hometown and officially join the watch.
She will also be essentially to you moving forward because you need her pasturage to collect food and milk and because food is a valuable resource to unlock other parts of the town. So that is how you get the resourceful old chatterbox named Martha!
Speaking of resources, after all that gathering, you’ll need some additional space to hold it all. A recruitable character named Nell can help with that. Check out this guide on how to recruit Nell in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes!
