I personally believe that Motion Blur should be removed from video games entirely. Although not many people are as militant as me, most people often turn the option off when starting the game for the first time. Then there are some games like Final Fantasy 16 that don’t give you the option of turning it off. This can be a problem if you don’t like that option or if it makes you sick.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to reduce the motion blur in the game. Sadly, we can’t remove it completely but hopefully they patch that in soon!

How to Reduce Motion Blur

Motion Blur can be a pain for some people because it makes everything blurry when you move the camera. Some people even get sick when this feature is on, and it is baffling on why they don’t have an option to turn it off!

To reduce the Motion Blur in Final Fantasy 16 you need to go to the Menu and pick systems. You can go there using the R2 and L2 trigger buttons. Once you’re in systems, use the R1 and L1 buttons to go to the Graphic Settings which is the small monitor icon.

Final Fantasy 16 Graphics Settings

Once you’re in the Graphics Settings you should see the “Game Performancesetting. Set that to Frame Rate and that should reduce the motion blur in the game. Now, if only we can turn it off and save the headaches!

That’s how you reduce the motion blur in Final Fantasy 16. Now that you have lowered that horrible motion blur why not fight one of the flashier enemies in the game? Check out our guide on the Belphegor Location for more details!
