Nothing annoys a gamer more than seeing the clean and pristine village that you have spent ages on to perfect, only to find one speck of land that seems to be destroying the aesthetic of your village. Whether it’s a lone tree, a bush, or even a tree stump, that cannot be allowed to destroy the view of your beautiful village. No no no, we can’t have that here. So in this guide, we will be showing you how to remove those pesky tree stumps, so your village can look the way you want it to.
Disney Dreamlight Valley – Disney Dreamlight Valley
In order to remove tree stumps, you have to get the Shovel Blade upgrade for your shovel. But in order to get that upgrade, you need to do Anna’s An Icy Invitation quest. Once you get the quest, you will first have to find Anna’s book, which is in her house (talk about lazy, right?)
After getting the book to Anna, she will then ask you to gather materials in order to upgrade your shovel. The required materials are 10 Softwood, 4 Hardwood, 4 Iron Ingots, and 3 Tinkering Parts. Softwood and Hardwood are easy to get, as you can collect them off the ground in their respective locations (refer to the Foraging tab to see where you can find them), it’s the Iron Ingots and Tinkering Parts that require a bit of work.
Iron Ore is needed to make Iron Ingots. It is also required to make Tinkering Parts. You need to craft 6 Iron Ingots, 4 for the quest and 2 to craft the Tinkering Parts. That requires 30 Iron Ore and 6 Coal Ore. After getting the Iron Ingots, go to the Tinkering Parts page in the Crafting Station and you will see that you need 2 Iron Ingots to craft the required 3 Tinkering Parts.
Now that you have all of the required materials, go on ahead and craft the Shovel Blade upgrade. Go to your inventory next and use the Shovel Blade, which will automatically upgrade your Shovel. You can now remove tree stumps off the ground with this handy upgrade.
