If you’ve climbed all the way up Moonveil Mountain in Where Winds Meet, found the mysterious Bell of Demoncalm… and then realized it’s completely busted, don’t worry, you’re not alone. I went up there thinking I’d get some cool cutscene or hidden buff, only to be told, “Come back with fragments.” Thanks, game.
In this guide, I’ll walk you through exactly how to repair the Bell, how to get the Bronze Bell Fragment, and what you actually need to do with Oddities in Qinghe. If you’re confused about the whole Oddities Exchange thing, or you’ve only caught one cricket and already lost your sanity, I got you.
How to Repair the Bell of Demoncalm
To repair the Bell of Demoncalm in Qinghe’s Moonveil Mountain, you need one item: the Bronze Bell Fragment.
And there’s only one way to get it:
1. Max Out the Oddities Exchange (Collect All 8 Oddities in Qinghe)

You must complete the entire Oddities progression for Qinghe. That means collecting every Oddity type and submitting them until your Oddities Exchange reaches max level (it’s literally on the end), which then rewards you with the Bronze Bell Fragment.
Once you have that, travel up to Moonveil Mountain → Bell of Demoncalm, interact with the bell, and use the fragment to repair it.
Simple in theory… not so simple in practice. So here’s the breakdown.
How Qinghe Oddities Work (Quick Breakdown)

Oddities are overworld collectibles you’ll find while exploring. They look like butterfly/fairy icons on your minimap, and each one is a small puzzle or micro-event.
There are five Oddity types in Qinghe:
1. Whisper Hive
- Found on trees/cliffs
- Must shoot with a fire arrow
- Gives EXP + Qinghe exploration
- Boosts Perception
2. Ironwing Mantis
- Purple bug sitting on a rock
- Flies when touched, chase and collect
- Boosts Coordination
3. Dagger General

- Crickets hiding under crates/pots
- Smash objects → spam collect
- Boosts Mindset
4. Redmist Beetle
- Above glowing red mushrooms
- Often requires climbing + jumping
- Boosts Coordination
5. Enchanting Lotus
- Surrounded by poison fog
- Use Wind Sense → find purple butterflies
- Shoot butterflies with fire arrows → collect flower
- Boosts Perception
Tip for Finding Them
If the minimap icon is present but you don’t see anything:
- Activate Wind Sense
- Look upwards, many Oddities sit on trees or cliff ledges
- Move around until the outline appears
Where to Spend Oddities to Get the Bronze Bell Fragment
Once you’ve gathered a good amount, head to:
👉 Oddity Collector Qi Sheng: east of General’s Shrine
Turn in your collected Oddities to progress through the Melodies of Peace talent tree.
This tree gives:
- Damage bonuses
- Max HP/Endurance upgrades
- Inner Way tomes
- Movement skills
- Outfits
- And eventually, the Bronze Bell Fragment
You must fully complete Qinghe’s Oddity Exchange path to unlock the fragment.
How to Use the Bronze Bell Fragment
Once the Oddity tree is maxed:
- Travel to Qinghe → Moonveil Mountain
- Climb up to the Bell of Demoncalm (look for the large shrine-like structure)
- Interact with the bell
- Select “Repair”
- Use the Bronze Bell Fragment
Congratulations, the Bell of Demoncalm is restored!
Why Bother Repairing It?
Absolutely, and it’s more useful than players realize. Once you repair the Bell of Demoncalm, you can ring it, and ringing the bell weakens all world bosses across the entire Qinghe region.
That means easier clears, smoother farming, and far less suffering when you’re under-geared or soloing. So yes… fixing this ancient bell is basically turning on “Qinghe Easy Mode.”
Wrap-Up
Repairing the Bell of Demoncalm can look confusing at first, mostly because the game doesn’t clearly explain the Oddities system. Once you know that the fragment only unlocks after finishing the Oddity Collector tree, everything makes sense.
So grab those hives, chase those purple bugs, avoid getting poisoned, and smash some crates, and soon enough, you’ll be ringing that bell like a proud handyman of the wuxia world.
