In Frostpunk 2, you’ll be required to do everything you can to help New London thrive. Part of this involves establishing fuel sources so that you can transfer them to the city. This is the goal of the objective where you have to transfer at least 75 oil output.
But how exactly are you supposed to transfer this? Quite a few players have trouble with this as the game seems to not explain it properly. Not to worry, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to make the transfer. Let’s dive in!
How to Transfer at Least 75 Oil Output to New London
Around the end of Chapter 1, you’ll be given the objective of transferring 75 oil output to New London after you’ve built the Old Dreadnought. To do this, first go to your Old Dreadnought.
After that, you’ll need to build yourself an Extraction District. When you select the Extraction District, you can only build one on spots with oil. Luckily, you should be able to see a bunch of spots like these on the map.
So, pick one that you are happy with.
After that, click on the Extraction District and you’ll see a Base Output of 75 oil. You can actually even increase this output by adding an oil jack to it. But again, this is up to you.
Next, when you’re ready to make the transfer, click on the icon for the Old Dreadnought shown in the top right corner.
This will open a smaller menu with some options. Here, you can select the Resource Transfer option on the left.
Doing so will open a larger menu that shows all the materials that you have on the Old Dreadnought and New London. You can move the slider for each of the materials in either direction, depending on which city you want to transfer them to.
Here, move the slider for the Oil towards New London until it is at least 75. After that, hit the Transfer Resources option at the bottom to make the transfer.
Doing so will complete the objective followed by a cutscene as you transition to the next chapter in Frostpunk 2.
That’s everything you need to know about transferring at least 75 oil output to New London. Quite a simple task that is made a bit confusing since the game doesn’t explain it properly. But now you’ll be able to transfer any materials you need back and forth.
Eventually, you’ll come across another problem where you need to get a Research Institute in your housing district. Our how to build research institute guide has you covered!
