Season 4 of Delta Force is finally here, and with it come two brand-new weapons: the K437 Assault Rifle and the 725 Double Barrel Shotgun. Now here’s the catch, you can’t unlock them in Warfare just yet. That’ll likely come with an event later in May. But if you’re like me and hate waiting, there’s a workaround. You can unlock them now through Operations, and once you do, they’ll be usable in both Operations and Warfare. Let’s break it down.

How to Unlock the K437 and 725 (Season 4)

The method is simple, but the grind? Not so much. To unlock the K437 & 725 Shotgun early, you need to:

  1. Jump into Operations mode.
  2. Play the map Zero Dam.
  3. Find and loot one of three weapon crates.
  4. Extract successfully with the weapon in your inventory.

Once you’ve done that, boom, unlocked for both modes.

IMPORTANT: You must find the weapon in-raid yourself, you can’t just be handed one by a teammate.

Weapon Crate Locations on Zero Dam

There are three crates to target, located in two key zones. So far, players have found the K437 and 725 on both Easy and Normal difficulty, but the K437 appears to be more common on Normal.

1. Cement Plant (2 Crates)

  • These are almost side-by-side in the middle of the POI, near the upper-level reservoirs.
  • Just head up the stairs, and you’ll see both crates waiting in the center area.

2. Administrative Area (1 Crate/ 3 if Normal)

  • Head to the back of the stacked containers.
  • On the far left, you’ll see a pallet ramp, use it.
  • Follow the path through an open container, hook a right, and there it is: your weapon crate.
  • Also, if you’re playing Normal mode, there are two more crates outside the Admin area on top of the containers.

Tip: Use the map’s top-down view to mark these locations before dropping in.

My Experience: What You Should Know

I found my K437 in Cement Plant, on Normal difficulty, after 12–15 runs. Yeah, it was a grind. Most of the time, other squads beat us to the crates. And once you do find the weapon? You still need to extract alive.

Here’s the deal:

  • These locations are crazy contested right now.
  • You need a good spawn close to Cement or Admin to beat others to the crates.
  • And worst of all? You must extract with the weapon for it to count.

This is why it’s important to:

  • Land close to Cement or Admin.
  • Bring a squad or duo for backup.
  • Bail and reset if crates are already looted.

You can’t just have a buddy bring you a K437 and waltz out with it. Nope, you need to find it yourself, in-raid. That’s the frustrating part. And honestly? I can’t stand Operations mode. It feels like the devs are forcing us into it just to boost player counts. You’re not alone if you feel like this is less about gameplay and more about numbers.

“If they keep doing this for all new weapons, they’ll lose players instead of gaining them.” — a fellow Delta Force player. Couldn’t agree more.

Easy vs. Normal: What Difficulty Works?

There’s some debate here. Based on my runs and what others have said:

  • The 725 can drop on Easy, but…
  • The K437 seems locked to Normal or even Night variants of Zero Dam.

If you’ve been trying on Easy and coming up dry, you’re not losing your mind. You’re just getting gamed by RNG and loot tables.

Final Advice (From Someone Who’s Been There)

If you want the K437 Assault Rifle and the 725 Double Barrel Shotgun before the May event:

  • Find a squad, or at least one friend.
  • Farm Zero Dam on Normal difficulty.
  • Prioritize Cement and Admin crates.
  • Extract immediately once you secure the weapon.
  • Reset if the crates are already looted; rinse and repeat.

That’s what I did with my buddies. We ran it non-stop, only extracting when we got to the crates first. No shame in backing out and trying again, especially when RNG isn’t on your side.

Delta Force is pushing players into Operations whether we like it or not. While the K437 and 725 are solid additions, locking them behind a less-loved mode is a move that’s getting mixed reactions, and rightfully so. Still, if you’re itching to flex the new firepower before everyone else, this is your path. Good luck out there, and don’t forget to extract.
