After almost a decade of waiting, a sequel to the original The Forest game is finally out. If you’re looking to survive the dangers of Sons of the Forest, light is going to be an absolute necessity.
If you’re tired of a torch occupying your hand and having to switch to a weapon whenever you encounter a cannibal, you’ve come to the right place.
In this guide, we’ll cover how to use the Flashlight Pistol Attachment. This guide assumes you already found the attachment that’s located deep inside a cave, in the snowy region of the map. If you haven’t, check out our guide on how to obtain the attachment.
Sons Of The Forest – How To Use Pistol Flashlight Attachment
Open up the crafting menu and locate the Pistol in your inventory. It should be on top in a black military case. Click the Pistol to bring it to the crafting section, and do the same with the Pistol Rail.
Once you combine the Pistol with the Rail, you’ll be ready to combine it with other attachments.
In this case, you want to add the Flashlight Attachment to the crafting section and click the cog to combine.
Select the Pistol to equip it. If you’re out in the open and it’s daytime, you may not notice the flashlight right away so head into a cave or wait for night to come, then test out your new weapon!
