A big feature that Sons of the Forest has that The Forest does not have is the Zipline Gun. This bad boy does exactly what it says: it creates a zipline that you can use to cross large gaps that you normally cannot reach.
Once you have the Zipline Gun, you will no doubt be excited to use it to cross gaps that were previously untouched because you did not have the Zipline Gun. But how do you use it? Is there something you need to do besides just firing the harpoon?

Sons Of The Forest – How to Use Zipline Gun
To use the Zipline Gun, equip the gun and fire the first grappling line toward any surface (for this example, we are aiming at the ground).
Once you have the first grappling line hit the ground, find another surface that you can easily reach and shoot the second grappling line at it, like this wall. Once done, the zipline can now be used. You can then use it to get down from whatever high area you are in.
