Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been a bit of a surprise hit coming in just before the end of the year, and it has a lot of secrets and mysteries to uncover. In this guide, we will be showing you how to find all five of the relics for the Lost Artifacts of Europe side quest.
All 5 Lost Artifacts – Lost Artifacts of Europe
The Lost Artifacts of Europe side quest will have you searching for five different relics taken from all around the continent. As Indiana Jones himself would probably say, these all belong in a museum.
In order to find all of them, it should be noted that you need to progress a bit in the story for some of them, as you might not be able to access places that these artifacts are in. If you find that one or more of these are inaccessible at the moment, simply keep playing the main questline first.
Lost Artifact #1 – The Parade Helmet
First up is the Parade Helmet, which can be found in the Tower of Nicholas V. Here, you will have to make your way up the spiral staircase, which is partially ruined. Basically, you will be jumping a lot as you ascend it.
For some sections of the broken staircase, you might need to find a way to stand on the railings in order to get a better angle to reach the next step. Just keep going up the stairs until you reach the very top where it ends, which should have the Parade Helmet right beside a skeleton.
Lost Artifact #2 – The Bronze Mirror
While you are still in the Tower of Nicholas V, back track all the way to the entrance. There, you should find a staircase leading down, which will take you straight to the sewers. There, you will notice a brick wall beside a sleeping NPC.
Nearby, to the left of the wall, there should be a sledgehammer on the ground. Pick this up and use it to break the wall. From there, simply make your way across the linear path and you will eventually stumble into the Bronze Mirror at a dead end.
Lost Artifact #3 – The Venus Figurine
For this one, you will want to go ahead and do the “A Nun in Trouble” quest first if you haven’t already. At the very last room where you rescue Giuliana, you will find a suspiciously unpainted section of the wall that you can break through.
You can actually see this during the quest itself, when you fight the fascist in this room. Just look for a weapon that is strong enough to break through this brick wall, and you should find the Venus Figurine right beside yet another skeleton.
Lost Artifact #4 – The Drinking Horn
The location of this artifact is also locked behind “A Nun in Trouble”, so if you have just completed it and found the Venus Figurine from earlier, then you can go ahead and search for this one as well.
The Drinking Horn can be found at the Museum Wing, inside a room with a small sign outside that says “Musei Vaticani”. There, you will find a safe that you can open with the code 7171, and this contains the Drinking Horn artifact.
In case you were curious about how one can get the code, it is written under the lamp beside the entrance. You have to turn off the light and the numbers will appear next to its base.
Artifact #5 – The Golden Xiphos
Finally, the last lost artifact of Europe can be found at the lower floor of the Sistine Chapel, just past the door with the “Cappella Sistina” sign outside. Upon walking into the room, immediately divert your attention to the upside down painting to the left.
All you need to do here is flip it around by walking up to it and interacting with the painting. This will reveal a secret compartment behind it, which contains the Golden Xiphos.
Once you have picked that up, congratulations, you have now found all five of the Lost Artifacts of Europe! These are just a few of the secrets you can discover in this game, and since it is locked behind a few other quests, they are particularly easy to miss or straight up forget about.
