Infinity Nikki has been out for a while now and quite a few players have managed to get deep into the story. Especially towards the end game, you might find that you have Eurekas that relate to Stylist Contests. But what exactly are Eurekas supposed to do>
If you’re confused, not to worry, we have you covered! In this guide, we’ll go over everything you need to know about Eurekas. In this way, you’ll be able to make the most of them. Without further delay, let’s get into it!
Eureka Complete Guide
You can think of Eurekas as additional pieces of clothing that help boost your style points in Infinity Nikki. They also enhance how your character looks, but they do much more than that.
We’ll look at how you can farm them, and how you’ll be able to upgrade and recolor the ones that you have.
Eurekas Explained
Starting off, we’ll look at what exactly Eurekas are and their significance in Infinity Nikki. In the game, you’ll often come across Stylist Contests. They are also a big part of the end game of the game at the moment.
This is where Eurekas can help out a lot.
If you navigate to the Eurekas tab in Infinity Nikki, you should probably already have a bunch of Eurekas depending on how far you are in the game.
There are three types of Eurekas based on star ratings. Star ratings dictate what stats the items will have at Level 0.
Here is the breakdown of Eureka star ratings:
- Three Star Eurekas
- Four Star Eurekas
- Single S rating stat at Level 0
- Five Star Eurekas
- Single SS rating at Level 0.
For example, the image below shows a five star Eureka with an SS rating in Elegant. Different five star Eurekas will have SS ratings in different stats.
So, you can pick and choose depending on what stat will need to stand out in Styling Contests.
Eureka Upgrades And Color Changes
If there is a particular Eureka that you like in Infinity Nikki, you can actually upgrade them. We recommend doing this if you’re lacking a strong Eureka in a particular stat.
To upgrade Eurekas, start by hitting the Upgrade option in the bottom left corner. For simplicity, we’ll be looking at a Level 0 Eureka, so we can see exactly how upgrading works.
In this menu, below the Level, you should see a meter. This meter will fill up as you gain XP, and you need XP if you want to upgrade the Eureka. The max level for each Eureka is Level 10.
Upgrading Eurekas to the max will also change the base color. Currently, the base color of the Eureka is yellow. However, as you upgrade the Eureka, the color of the Eureka can change. These color changes will depend on the star rating.
A five star Eureka can change into one of five colors. You can check these colors via the Color Preview option in the bottom left corner.
Eurekas can also change into a rainbow color that is a mix of colors, which most people are trying to get. Unfortunately, you cannot decide what color a Eureka will be. This is completely dependant on chance.
This can be a problem if you reach Level 10 and your Eureka is a color that doesn’t match your outfit. So, what do you do in such a situation? This is where duplicates come in.
Eureka Duplicates And Recolors
If you want to change the color of a specific Eureka that is maxed out, you will need to obtain another Eureka of the same type. After that, you will need to level this Eureka up until you get the specific color that you want.
Unfortunately, this can be quite grindy but it is how Infinity Nikki works with its gacha mechanics.
However, you can use duplicates to help you upgrade other Eurekas. If you look at the bottom in the Upgrade menu, you will be able to see an Upgrade Materials section.
Here, you’ll be able to select three types of materials that you can Infuse to help level up your Eureka. The breakdown of how much XP they each give is:
- Three Star Eurekas
- 50 XP each (any level)
- Four Star Eurekas
- 100 XP each
- Five Star Eurekas
- 300 XP each (Level 0)
- 3000 XP each (Level 10).
This is where duplicates can help as having multiple of the same Eureka won’t really help you in Stylist Contents, unless you plan to use them for Recolors. In this way, you can infuse Eurekas you don’t want to upgrade the ones you want.
As you level up, you can also get extra stat boosts and additional labels. This extra stat boost will target your base stat, which is the highest rated stat on your Eureka. Additionally, the label can help you out in certain Stylist Contests.
Once you max out the Eureka, you will be able to get a color change and Shining Particles as rewards. These are really good for upgrading your Eurekas and giving them a better look.
Upgrading your Eureka to the max will give you really strong stats which can help you with Styling Contests. Combining these with other Eureka clothing items can make you really overpowered.
Farming Eurekas
There are multiple ways in which you can farm Eurekas and get duplicates. The first of these methods is by doing Realm Challenges. Start by interacting with the Realm Challenges tower, or the Warp Spire.
Here, you should be able to see the Realm of Eureka option. If you do not see it yet, it’s possible you haven’t unlocked it yet. To unlock it, you’ll need to complete the Story Quest: Power Outage Rescue.
Over here, you should be able to see a bunch of Trials that you can do by spending energy that replenishes daily. You can also select a Difficulty.
Completing these Trials will give you Eurekas as rewards. You’ll get a randomized amount of Eurekas which can include three star, four star or five star Eurekas depending on your luck.
If you’re worried about having to grind these Trials, luckily there is a system that allows you to only do them once. The challenge itself is very easy and simple too, as long as you’re good at jumping challenges.
After you complete the Trial, you have a choice of spending additional energy to increase the amount of rewards you get. So, whatever your goal is for the day, you’ll be able to obtain it immediately without having to grind.
You might also need to farm materials for certain outfits that will help you with styling contests like Eurekas. Check out our tricky patch craft guide to be able to get one of these elusive materials.
The other way of getting Eurekas is by doing the Realm of Breakthrough. This is accessible from the same Realm Challenges menu.
You will need to unlock these as well and you’ll only do so pretty late in the story. This in Chapter 7 when you defeat Chigda during Story Quest: Showdown with Chigda!
Over here, you should see another Trial. Keep in mind that this trial can only be completed once a week. However, the rewards can also give you a decent amount of Eurekas.
Styling Challenges
We’ll quickly go over Styling Challenges so that you can understand the importance of Eurekas in Infinity Nikki. As part of the end game, you will be able to do Styling Challenges by visiting Bianbo.
Over here, select the option to do a Styling Challenge.
After that, you’ll be given a Styling Theme where you’ll be told where the recommended primary stat is and the secondary label. This is the same secondary label that you can get when you upgrade your Eureka to Level 5.
So, you’ll want your outfits and Eureka accessories to have both the primary stat maxed out and also have the label. Doing so will give you the most points. Even then, it’s possible you might fall just short in which case you’ll need to upgrade Eurekas and use glow ups.
Basically, without Eurekas to back up your outfits, you won’t be able to compete in Styling Challenges.
That’s everything you need to know for the complete Eureka guide in Infinity Nikki. If you plan on playing Infinity Nikki, then Eurekas are going to be your best bet of dominating the end game. There’s going to be a lot of grinding though, so don’t say we didn’t warn you!
