As you enter the castle, Rey is hearing some voices. It is up to you to know more about the voices and help Rey out.

To start the quest, you first need to go to Maz’s Castle.
As Rey, go into the castle and follow the yellow quest markers. Head down the stairs and you will hear the voices once again. When you reach a fork at the end of the hallway, look at your left.
You will encounter a closed cage here. Follow the red lines to your right and grab the items as seen in the map above.
Place it underneath the blue machine, forming a ladder on your right side. Call on BB-8 to climb up the ladder and solve the puzzle on the machine.
Once you solve the puzzle, the cage on your left will open up. Go to the cage on your left and pick up the key on the ground. Insert the key on the box and you will find a lightsaber inside.
Once you take the lightsaber, you will encounter a cutscene.
