Genshin Impact 2.8 – Is KAZUHA Still WORTH PULLING? Character Analysis & Discussion

After all of the patches and big changes that Genshin Impact has received over the years, players have wondered about Kazura and why is he getting neglected? Well, there has been an answer to their prayers because changes have come. So is he worth pulling right now at this very moment?! – Yes he is!

Kazuha in the past has been kind off overseen. This is mostly because of his abilities that are more or less the same as other characters, characters that were much better in every aspect than Kazuha himself. Well, there are very new interesting things to the table right now that change this opinion about people, and finally, Kazuha is getting his well-deserved attention.

On the day of this writing, Kazuha actually dominates over all the other characters and is one of the most used ones too. Even higher ranking than Bennet too! It is also one of the most used in the Spyral Abyss.

Kazuha was released in 1.6. When he got released there were revisions on how elemental mastery and reactions worked. Namely, the damage scaling of transformative reactions, Swirl being one of them, was boosted.

Times have changed now too and in favor of Kazuha of course. He didn’t only benefit from this change though, but the various ways in which his kit can facilitate all kinds of reactions, amplifying, transformative, and swirls altogether, helped a lot with increasing his overall value.

Why is Kazuha Meta right now and what does he bring to the table?

Well, in a nutshell, Kazuha is an animal unit that crowd controls swirls and also facilitates elemental reactions. This gives your team an elemental damage bonus while also reducing the enemy’s elemental resistance.

Since his damage bonus buffs scales on his em stat, Kazuha has a new utility within his kit that can’t and hasn’t been replicated by any of the other characters. Kazuhas damage buff is incredibly helpful in many reaction-based teams and a top choice for mono element teams.

Kazuha can also buff and also shred the resistance of two or three elements at once. Double or Triple Swirls can also cause chain reactions as result of the swirled elements.

Kazuha is marked and labeled as a supporting character that gives his team a boost in their damage, however, he is being really underestimated as a damage dealer. He is also a very good damage dealer, make no mistake about that. Even his EM build can be his most powerful damage-dealing build. He is a very flexible character if in the proper hands. He is very easy to slide into all the meta teams right now.

Kazuha is extremely fun to use. If you haven’t given him a try so far, well you’ve been missing out! One of the most fun things about him is his skills. They are very good for combat, but at the same time for exploration too! (Like giving yourself a boost to get somewhere higher, etc.). He has very cool and interesting crowd control skills.

Conclusion

Kazuha can change the whole outcome of big battles because of his pulling abilities. He controls the battleground in the sense that you can decide where your enemies can be with his skills. How cool is that?! Suck them to you, pull them together, push them away, etc.

He is also a very good free-to-play friendly character too.
